Kristiansen is out for the season. Although that may still be an improvement on Thomas.

Going to laugh at this thread when we still get relegated anyway....early days, still no clean sheets and a long way to go!
Just a question, would you be happier if in our next 5 matches we drew them all 0 - 0 or if we won them, 3 - 2, 2 - 1, 3 -1, 4 - 2 and 2 -1. Yes, I agree keeping a clean sheet ensures you at least get a draw, but I'm happy to concede a goal or two if we keep winning.

Can't see how you can drop Winks on last 2 performances. If anyone needs dropping it's probably Mavadidi IMO

I suspect both are injured - thought I heard Fatawu was carry a twinge to his knee and that's why he wasn't selected for the cup match, so it may have been a bit more serious than reported. Also, some have said they haven't seen Ayew in the training photo's this week, which also suggests an injury.

not really. if rowett had ever managed succesfully in the upper reaches of serie a and premier league then maybe. along with about 20 other factors that make it a poor comparison.
The comparison is, don't write a bloke off, who has had relative success at Championship level, just because he has been sacked from his last job at a club some consider well below us, just like Greece weren't a fashionable team at international level when Ranieri got sacked after losing to the Faroe Islands. We aren't in a position to attract elite managers anymore.

A proper bag of shite appointment for a club that hasn't go a pot to piss in, and if did try to piss in the pot, would miss and piss down its own leg.
A bit like getting the man sacked by Greece after losing 1 - 0 to the Faroe Islands.

Could go either way I suppose. Like other managers he may not get a tune out of some of the 'talented' players he's mentioned that are in the squad or he could galvanise the squad and keep us up through being resilient and pragmatic. If he does keep us up and fans can see the team spirit and effort has vastly improved, I hope they give him a go next year, as at this level he should do well. With a complete overhaul of the squad and a full pre season, which has been lacking recently, he may start to build something good again.

Lots of moaning about Rowett but don’t see many alternatives being suggested.
That's because basically there aren't any - think it's the best we could hope for in our financial situation and league position.

If rumours are correct it’s one player that is stirring the s—t and he needs to go.
Can you elaborate? Winks or Vestergaard

Rudders will take another 2 weeks trying to convince Dyche to come here only for him to turn us down again as the Burnley job will have become vacant.

I'm not against Rowett as he's probably the best we could realistically get in our situation, but if it is him, why the fvck wasn't he in place two and half weeks ago?

His record wasn't actually hideous and had they given him the job sooner they'd of likely stayed up

What I don't understand, unlike Maresca who somewhat took them by surprise when he announced he wanted to go to Chelsea, Marti's impending sacking has been hanging there for about 3 months, yet when they do sack him, it's like a total surprise to them and that they need to find a new manager. How can a club in our dire situation points wise go three league games with a new manager. Rudkin is, and always has been, way out of his depth at the job he's supposed to do.

If top was clever, hed get Pearson in and tell him to rebuild the club from the top down. If that means rudkins gone and we Pearson can find his own boss then so be it.
Only way to make Leicester great again
And there lies the problem

But the point is he wont see himself as a lower end Championship manager fighting a relegation battle.
He will still believe there are PL teams waiting for him at the right time. Next season there will be 3 new ones waiting to pull the trigger.
But I wasn't suggesting that - I was answering the statement from Drain the Swamp that said 'If we have aspirations of getting back there in three or four years, he's not the one.' I agree with you that I don't think he'd come here, but if he did, I think he would get us back there sooner than 3 or 4 years. He probably would struggle to keep us up, however.

FWIW, I think he's been dining out on overachievements at Burnley for years. His time at Everton and Forest, frankly, show he's nowhere near Premier League level these days. If we have aspirations of getting back there in three or four years, he's not the one.
But he's more likely to give us a chance of getting back there

Not much, they are massively toxic. We became Spurs after the league win
Champions League Football, 60, 000 capacity crowds, far better players, money to spend - that's 4 reasons why they are in a better position than us (Oh and no Rudkin)

Let's see how long spurs take to get somebody.not as long as we do.
I agree, but let's be honest Spurs are a far more attractive proposition than what we are.

Would love to hear a KPFC defence of the decision-making processes at LCFC.
- Waiting until early July to sack RVN despite having about four months before that to prepare for the Championship
- Waiting another two weeks to appoint Cifuentes, just three weeks before the start of the season
- Leaving it four months (and counting) without a chief executive after Susan Whelan's departure
- Promising in early November that Rudkin would move to a new role and a technical director be appointed, then nothing happening
- Sacking Cifuentes and failing to appoint a new manager for 16 days (and counting)
Appalling mismanagement of our football club.
There isn't any, because this is an ongoing issue. Mistake after mistake after mistake and yet those responsible aren't accountable or are kept in role to continue making the same cock ups.
