  1. No sleep until 2am. Sleepy now. Nothing worth of note in between...
  2. wrong thread Hitesh *** And, on a positive note, my banana cake turned out quite OK actually
  3. Dr Who
  4. Boring day... didn't achieve anything, except plugging and unplugging USB devices
  5. Me, myself and Irene
  6. Been with Orange for nearly 3 years (2 separate contracts). Today I enquired about a phone upgrade and was offered the HTC Touch HD for £230! When I pointed out that surely that would depend on the tariff I was on and that I was willing to change from my current tariff, they put me through to disconnections who simply gave me my PAC code. So much for looking after your customers
  7. White is not chocolate I thought you might
  8. Dark chocolate
  9. Hmm not sure yet...
  10. UNWANTED SMS Receiving SMSs from senders like "Free ringtones" or "Gr8 chart hits" (no actual number, though one of them sends you to mshop.tv, and a google search reveals caller id:22120000). - No SMS text - If you check SMS properties, there is an internet address they obviously want you to go to (but I would not bother, certainly NOT from my phone). When I complain to Orange, they say the cannot do anything. Also, most advisors have no clue what number the texts come from (I had to give them the 22120000 number - a google search is obviously too demanding for them). How can this be allowed? It is not just receiving unwanted texts, it is the threat that they potentially could be charging you for sending you unwanted texts. I have to thoroughly check each text weekly, just in case they come from the same unethical company
  11. Cake update: - banana cake turned out more like banana biscuits. Hardly my fault, though, as the oven wasn't working and had to make do with the grill! - carrot cake (in breadmaker). Nice and moist, though it tastes a bit like Christmas cake. Pretty pleased overall
  12. Battlestar Galactica...
  13. Knight Rider
  14. Dr Who
  15. Hmm well, not quite, we haven't really talked since the argument (lunchtime). I am busy baking (ehmm burning) cakes to make amends...
  16. Rubbish day... argument on Valentine's Day? Not good.
  17. Boring day. Achieved little. Had to see people I didn't want to see. Had some sport-related fun though and ate far too much chocolate.
  18. Should we ask? Is it me or your avatar has got a sparkle in its eyes this morning?
  19. Then, start looking for another job? Sometimes a better job comes along - you'd never have looked for one if things had been ok at work. Good luck!

    Snow

For a moment, I thought you said your girlfriend was due to arrive tomorrow
  21. What makes you think that?
  22. Drove to Nottingham with work as it started to snow... drove back three hours later. Great Got home at 9:40pm
  23. Was it at least one of those chunky ones, with strong, hairy legs?
  24. Well, more than at once, perhaps more as all of them one straight after the other, with no breaks (I am guessing, I normally don't stick around long enough to find out for sure... )
  25. Companies that insist on you sending back faulty goods at your own expense (when no need). Now, why cannot they just send me an electronic version of the DVD? No extra expense for anyone. If they really want to inspect the DVD for faults (why would I make it up, I have already paid for it), no problem, but I am wasting my time (going to the post office on purpose) and money (packaging and postage). At least agree to refund me the postage OR give me a freepost address!??!!? They really know how to keep their customers happy!!!
