This is where someone like Powell as a number 2 could work. He can be the manager advisor that he might need.
-
Let's face it, Scott Parker going promoted with Burnley.
-
If it is someone like O'Neil, would having Powell in as well (he's free) as a level headed, knows the club as a number 2 would be a good move. A team of 3 of O'Neil, Powell and Kingy. Then get a GK coach and keep the set Leicester coach. I've calmed down now

I'm sure it was one of his last Sky sports interviews. He looked dejected and I think he was sacked not long after.
-
Wolves. He lost the dressing room at Wolves and admitted it. His tactics are rubbish and it's another clear indicator that the club has no leadership quality or direction. He's poor. He's not the right appointment and won't be able to get the dressing room sorted. He doesn't play the football these players have been brought in to do. It'll be a shocking appointment.
-
O'Neil will be an utter shambles appointment. Utterly despicable appointment. He lost control at Wolves. A new manager comes in and they pick up points instantly and avoided relegation easily. He even admitted in an interview he couldn't manage the bunch. Shows they don't know anything about football.

I find it odd there hasn't been any outgoings or interest in players. I would have thought Mads, Ndidi and/or Bilal would have been subject to interest at some point. They wouldn't have to wait for a new manager as they can say we need to sell due to PSR, tough. I just don't get what is happening this summer. It all seems disjointed and Top doesn't care anymore. Like a bored child with a toy he doesn't want to play with anymore.

Yes. If I want to sell the club I would stop investing and look at the minimal investment to keep it going until the sale. So to me that's Kingy (poor guy) 1 coach and just keep it ticking along as cheap as possible. This is also true if you're selling due to lack of interest in the company. But it could be there isn't any cash flow so can't invest anymore, that would be another reason to sell and look for cheap options. If you wanted out, why would you invest time into it is my theory.

I think this Röhl rumour is dead in the water. It was a fun rumour while it lasted. Kingy with 1 coach it is then. #skint

Football must be the only industry where an employee is paid more than their manager. Bonkers if you think about it.
-
Me too. It looked smart to be fair

Wearing two hats on his feet
-
This has 'For Sale' written all over it. My view will be reaffirmed if Kingy gets the job
-
Not if this was kept from on him until now. The current owner is a twit
-
Educated guess or know something. But they way it's going, I can see this happening
-
Owlstalk are talking about takeover. If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if Röhl stays there knowing the future is better. Would depend on if the new owners want him or Rooney.
-
Surely someone with Dyche's experience would want to be there in preseason day one to stamp his authority and get prepared. If he's free and available surely that would have happened as he's an experienced manager and he knows how important that part is.
-
Go see a doctor about that as soon as you can. We don't want that spreading

Jelle ten Rouwelaar (GK coach) leaves to Brighton

So 2 footballing related coaches with one that is a rookie to the job. Excellent show of a premier League setup -
That's what they claim but it is actually their lack of footballing knowledge that is the problem. All the way through their ownership we have appointed obvious candidates, with Meresca the most out there appointment they've made. The board have shown their lack of knowledge time and time again, but they have never learnt. Sad really
-
They won't even know who that is, let's be honest.
-
Yea
-
Lead by agents again. Pathetic to have someone in charge of footballing side with lack of own knowledge and a donkey.
-
His signings are not great.
