I think there could easily be a chance of this. That side and that performance today and, over the last few weeks, wouldn't make the top half of the league.
Serious chance we hit the summer without a manager and with several players leaving and no money to replace them. large scale redundancies of non-playing staff and the same useless owner and DOF who have presided over this abhorrent display and who will dither around before appointing a manager who will have no pre-season with whatever players we have left etc. Just remember it took Coventry 25 years to get back to the Premier League. If that is us then pretty much anyone over 60 today may not see us back in the Premier League.
That's me ****ed then.

Someone asked what evidence there is to support some suggestions I have made about his personality type. What Flynn says is suggestive of someone who is awkward, wants to avoid conflict and so on, not great interpersonal wise, low self awareness. This gives an insight into what he’s like negotiating contracts. But can you imagine what he’s like negotiating contracts with who he wants to be first team regulars? If he wants to avoid conflict or difficult conversations, and if he thinks they hold more power than a youth player like Flynn, you can begin to see why the club has got itself in a ludicrous situation with the amount of silly contracts. Through Rudkin we’ve literally been taken advantage of. From a human psychology perspective, if a player has reached their ceiling and is being paid far too much compared to what they’d get elsewhere, it leads to complacency and a subtle message is sent that you don’t need to work hard to be rewarded very well. That has been done for years and look what has happened… low and behold we are about to be relegated from the Championship with the highest wage bill 🤣
Highest ever wage bill in league 1 then it'll be league 2,thanks Rudkin, you ****.

I disagree, it all comes down to Sheffield United vs Blackburn. Oxford have lost form but need to win all remaining matches to have a chance of staying up.
we won’t win our last three matches though, but we could stay up if we do.
Don't do it to yourself, these ***** are useless ,not done it for years so why now ? Not got it in em .

Feel sorry for all the mugs that still pay to go and watch a team who checked out months ago 😂
Feel sorry for the people who'll lose their jobs through no fault of their own ,through the incompetence of Top,Rudkin etc and the selfish attitude of the players who'll walk away with their millions.

Vardy puts that in the net. Honestly, the club expect to score goals without buying a striker or spending a penny.
Well they have spent a penny ,just on the wrong ***** though

Can only see administration looming maybe season after next and with it a hefty points deduction, which renders that season another survival season before we're rid of these cvnts.

Alex Smithies posted this in his LinkedIn page today about the day he retired and how he was treated by our wonderful club and especially the DoF speaks volumes …….
“How much do you want?”
In December 2023, I went to London to see my knee surgeon. I walked into that appointment as a footballer and walked out knowing it was over.
The surgeon told me I needed to retire immediately. My knee was no longer compatible with professional sport.
The next day, I sat down with the Director of Football at my club. I told him I’d been playing since I was 6… and now it was over.
His response?
“Okay… so how much do you want?”No empathy. No conversation. Just business.
I left the training ground expecting a call from the manager. A message. Something.
I’m still waiting.
And just like that… it was done. On my own.
WTF have we become ,I can't wait till these ****ers are forced out either by administration or forced to sell because their skint.

We are going one way ,we'll still probably have afew still want away players at the club ,and you'll have players like hamza and Thomas on a king's ransom sucking us dry .We won't stop till league 2 unless there's ownership change.

Say McCarron is on 200k p/a (could be more), Rudkin gets an additional 100k, 'Monica' is on 150k on an 'interim' basis, Davies get bumped up by 150k, We've added one net permanent new employee and it's possibly costing us 600k p/a!
We need to adopt a horribe, hard-nosed bean counter mentality right now and we're carrying on as normal with clappers, flamethrowers, beer giveaways and so on. Belvoir Drive needs to be mothballed, cut the stewarding and hospitality numbers, we have to scrimp no before it's too late.
Top will probably end up frittering away all the family money, he's taken us from what, a peak value of £500m down to teetering on administration?
The drop to league 1 is going to be a massive wake up call hopefully ,but if it doesn't it'll take administration to shake these cvnts up.Meanwhile ordinary hard working people at the club are through no fault of their own going to lose their jobs.I can't wait to see Top ,Rudkin, Glover etc all shown up for what they ,****ing useless.

To be fair, I think you could go back to Tony James in 1991, and almost every season has had a cup final, promotion, relegation, play off appearance or something happening in it, it’s actually a wild ride.
That's right all the play off finals ,league cups ,sad to think we're light years away from any of that.

He's a terrible footballer. He and Luke Thomas would and should have been binned off ages ago if they hadn't come through our academy. Both woeful footballers who wouldn't look out of place in non league football
In the not to distant future we might find that out.

There's no Pearson/Shakey/Walsh coming over the hill to save us this time ,as bad as it sounds ,success would be staying up in league 1.

If not bullied even more by the seasoned Div 1 players especially if we have to play the kids
Said before in the cup matches the U23 sides struggled against league 1/2 men's teams ,I really do think we could drop again next season.

Just another shit to go with all the other shits at the club.Bloody hell wish we had a Nigel Pearson type coming in to sort these ****ers out .
