If you watch Dirty Business, about Thames and Macquirie, you get the flavour of who our club decide to partner with. Absolutely disgusting shower of sharks, and Rudkin presumably lead on the negotiations. King Power car park like Filbert street on the way.

Looks like jumping  in bed with the devil  is gonna **** em up.They'll want their money,no ifs or buts.Nice one Top.

  2. He was never this bad at Oxford, they really rated him.Can only point to the crap players and attitude  around him ,hopefully  Rowett can get him back to his Oxford  form.

I work in private equity and can assure you this isn't what PE does, there will be some cases yes, but PE is designed to buy and build business', grow them over a period of 3-5 years and sell for a sizeable profit - this, in most cases, will involve some form of leverage but a responsible lender will be setting appropriate covenants so it isn't over stretched.

In this case Macquarie sold it for much less than they bought it for so within that fund it would of been a bit of a dud. I'm not sure even Park 24 are PE, haven't looked into it, I just thought they were a listed Japanese entity.

Not going so well for Asda or Morrisons,PE never ends well.

It's really sad to see the majority of fans not care. The fact a fair amount of fans still back the regime and can't see the multiple alarm bells ringing is a punch in the gut for those who can see the downfall. The majority are also those who may still show up but give nothing but silence to the players when they really need some backing (whether they deserve it or not). The clap off at the end is not really support.

The second annoyance is that even those who are fed up and want to make their voices heard, don't. The fact the march on Saturday was poorly attended shows just that.

This club is rotten, spiralling (potentially) out of existence or the very least into darkness and yet everyone just seems to take it. This is the worst position the football club has EVER been in. Over 140 years of the football club. That one season we dropped to the third tier was a blip that was followed by a huge rebuild with the club in a decent financial state. That will certainly not be the case this time. Staying up has never been this important!

And it's all down to 2 people  who haven't  a clue how to run a football  club. Don't even  need a witch hunt ,history  will show who are responsible.

The prematch propaganda video with the applauding of the prem trophy lifting feels like a constant reminder that we should be forever thankful and never criticise Top or King power - feels like an indoctrination video to me and to show so little pre king power Leicester city sort of reinforces that point

We're gonna end up like Forrest if we're  not careful, not gonna look goog playing that in front  of Mansfield  at home .

This season is a by-product of having a squad made up of:

    - loan players

    - players with 12 months left on their contracts

    - inexperienced youth players

    - players who don’t want to be here

    - those that do and aren’t good enough

something I hadn’t considered until now is how few of our players played a lot of football last season.

The vast majority were either injured, not available for selection or not in favour. Add that to a non-existent pre-season and we have a group of unfit players lacking sharpness. Whilst I appreciate they would have been training, that is no replacement for playing games and I think that’s been a massive part of our downfall.

And guess what?we'll  be saying the same thing this time next year .

I know they're on 49 points, but I'm convinced that Preston could join the relegation fight..... They can't seem to catch a breath at present and are only going one way!!

Wouldn't  worry bout them ,no way are we getting  49pts .

    For me, im split 50/50.

I don’t want us to go down, as I fear it will bust the club and we will have to start from scratch.

But on the other hand I do want to go down because I want Top to personally lose tens of millions of pounds as a f**k you gesture for single handedly guiding our team down the leagues without a care in the world.

And also Rudkin to be shown what a useless **** he is .

    I agree 100%

I watched the Don's vs Northampton game on Sunday, and I appreciate it's League One, but Evans 2nd half when moved more central was picked out numerous times by the commentary team and looked exactly that we are missing. Energy, a will to actually get forward, pressing and being a general pest for their defence, he came close a few times, and with better quality behind him (JJ, Mukasa, Winks etc) would have had more and better opportunities to put one away.  He was everything both Daka and Ayew even if combined aren’t.

What would we have to loose as our current striker options are doing a sterling job...

They'll all be seeing plenty of league 1 next season ,so we'll see what their all made of.

In Rowett’s first four matches we’ve played three of the best-performing sides in the Championship so far this year. In two of those games (Middlesbrough and Ipswich away) virtually everyone on the pre-match threads were convinced we’d get thrashed, yet in both cases we got a point.

I think people sometimes forget just how low we’ve sunk. We’ve been utterly horrendous in three of the past four seasons—our decline has been so spectacular it will be studied for generations to come. Rowett has come in to one of

the most dysfunctional environments any manager will ever face and had to play three of the division’s best-performing sides in his first four games—and lost only one of them. This is clearly progress. It won’t mean anything if he doesn’t start winning games in the much easier run of fixtures ahead, but he’s instilled some resilience and stopped the rot. It surprises me that some people don’t see that this is a step in the right direction.

We are Rowett's level ,the days of top rated managers coming here are long gone and they're  not coming back thanks to Top and Rudkin, the sooner we all accept where we are the better.

  11. We're ****ed.This must win will go on and on till we've ****ed it up and if we do win it won't make any difference. Been here before so many times over the last few years and each time we've been let down by the same group  of players .Can't polish a turd I'm afraid.

  12. Feel sorry for the people going to lose their jobs through  no fault of their own if /when relegated. Despise the players, Top,Rudkin  etc for causing it through their incompetence. ***** the lot of them.
