The point about us being relegated and blaming the six point deduction is EXACTLY the stance the club will take. Top wont shoulder the blame for what’s happened, they will just blame the points deduction and just kick out some bollocks about “being ambitious” punished for trying to compete etc, etc…..

What is more alarming is the sheer amount of people who seemingly either don’t get the situation properly, or still think we’re being hard done by…..

No wonder we can mobilise a proper protest, when you have got the likes of ‘Tim nice but dim’ on Leicesterfan TV, constantly sounding bemused at every announcement, poor result and shit decision on social media……  and that’s the narrative most fans will run with, it’s the deduction….

Well it isn’t, as I said two wins probably keeping up. Rowett has mustered up one win….. it’s not the deduction that’s sent us down, that is merely the product of the tests that run the club.

Not sure what they'll spin if we're  relegated  by more than the 6pt deduction, which is entirely  possible.

  2. I wouldn't be surprised  to drop again,if all we're  left with are young untried  kids ,league 1 isn't a good place to learn. It shows in the cup matches, most matches the hardened league 1/2 clubs come out on top .We've  got no "hard" men and people  to get stuck in and we dont want to be rolling over i  league 1.

We need 6 points from Swansea and Portsmouth. Blackburn on the final day will be too late.

Have to hope Millwall and Hull already are in play off places, and in Millwalls case not still challenging for top 2.

Needed 6 pts from the last 2 games and look what we got .The next 2 will be no different, we're  ****ed ,end of.

I did think it might take longer than this season. Possibly also, at that point, I held back a bit. I never thought we’d be in the promotion/play off picture but thought we’d just above stay up. I was more concerned about next season.

And if somehow we do manage to stay up from here, that will still be the case. We will go down next season regardless.

Except there's no 15th ,16th,19th before  relegation these tossers have even managed  to bypass  that ,so now we're  ahead, dont expect a quick promotion  though this time.

Based on Rowett’s ppg here and at Oxford it’s guaranteed to be 2 losses, 1 win and 2 draws. 5  points in 5 games.

    I’m going for

    LCFC v Swansea Draw

    pompey v LCFC draw

    lcfc v hull loss

    lcfc v Millwall loss

blackburn v LCFC (already relegated pressure off) convincing Win.

Bout right except "convincing win",how about weak gutless performance  suming  up the season .

These last two games have shown up his limitations, two must win and very winnable games against one team on the beach and the other who has won one game all season and guess what he goes with the same old same old formation and tactics, and we end up having to rely on late equalisers in both to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat.

He is woefully out of his depth when he has to select a team to go out on the front foot and attack the game. His stock tactic is to set up not to lose rather than to win the game. Hence why we bottle so many winnable games under him and our best performances have been away games against opposition near the top of the table.

But in league 1 with this squad  it is his level.

  7. Alot of what you say is correct, but having Danny Ward as No2 for so long didn't  do us any favours .It's abit similar  to having  JV at his prime for so long,  when he leaves your left with no one ready to take his place.

They genuinely must not communicate with each other. Any team needs a decent goalkeeper and we don’t have that, he’s a big part of the reason why we’re in a relegation battle.

He is ,like most of the squad at best league 1 standard and next season we'll find out if that's the case .We've  let better keepers go in the last few years.

We need to be brave and find a good up and coming manager.

Right now I'd go for the Southampton manager if he could be got away from Southampton.

He has such a refreshing approach to the game. And Southampton look a really good team with the same squad that was facing relegation early in the season.

Could  of tried that with the Lincoln  bloke ,but word gets round in football that we're a basket case. Why would any up and coming manager come here with the current board and players we've  got?

    Posted this in another thread.

The downfall in 2007/2008 was our inability to score and the fact we drew too many matches, not the back four. We had the second-best defensive record that season, but only netted 42 times, least amount of all teams.

And the other 23 teams were closer in terms of ability – which is why we went down with 52 (!) points. That it was on the last day of the season against Stoke, with a dire 0-0 draw to top it off, was symptomatic for the entire campaign.

The thing is with that side is the defence  weren't  too bad ,we had something to  build on.This ****ing bunch there's absolutely  nothing  to build on or with.Dont see this lot that  will be left ever doing anything ,we are going  to end up being a  run of the mill league 1 side  .

We don't need to sign and sell. We need to start the rebuild and sign and add to him. Stay up. Get rid of most of the dead wood.

I do not want to just accept we are going to go down (although it is as likely as not). I just hope the players/ownership have used the break for a bit of a reset and are ready to fight for their lives. We will know by Monday next week.

Cmon Leicester. Get this in your heads...You are not too good to go down. Get out there and fight, compete and outwork your opponents. We can do this but there are not going to be second chances from now on in.

We haven't out fought or competed with anyone this season what makes you think they will now ?

Keep kasper, sign lookman and a defender and we'd have been fine. Danny Ward, an angry sulking Rodgers, dropping Cags, Youri taking the michael, what an absolute clown show

Not forgetting playing a certain calamity  in Daniel Amarty over Cags.

  14. He's just like the whole  squad, very average, the odd good game but nothing  special. Next season  we're  gonna be full of these types of player ,which will just lead to a nothing  season paying  premier league money to watch it .Thing is I can't ever see the prices  going down .

Had we spent no money at all in the summer of 2024 - we’d be in a far better place both with the squad and finances.

Instead we ploughed money into Skipp, Ayew, Okoli, Reid, Golding & Edouard. Our second highest net spend on that crock of shit.

They've never once tried to get the finances in order - last summer was the first time we stopped spending when it should have happened 3 years prior

Also over the last couple of seasons we've  luckily  dodged the Harrison transfer and Antonio's loan to name but two lucky escapes.

The club needs to get back to the model that made us successful, the Nigel Pearson model. Young, hungry players from top academies but who dont have a future at those clubs. Talented young players already in the EFL with a mix of free agent experienced pros on short term deals. No big wages, no egos. No long term contracts for players over 30

Trouble is will they fancy league 1.

Insane numbers for a completely run of the mill club like Watford. The whole thing needs a total reset.

I'm sure we'll  beat that ,god knows how Top ,Rudkin  etc feel when we get ours announced?

Its not just us that use them, other clubs use them as well,

Tottenham, West Ham, Burnley, Watford, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Rangers, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Southampton have all used their services

That's right ,but I don't see them in the self inflicted mess we're in .
