If the club sell him at this point I don’t know what to say. He’s under contract and his value will only increase, there is no need to sell this window.

“Speed kills”.
There’s a quote for you. I personally think the reason we’ve gone down this season is not enough pace and agility in key areas. Fatawu got injured, Pereira being unavailable for majority share of it, Vardy not got the athleticism of his prime. You look at today and we really bothered them 2nd half with McAteer, Buonanotte, Bilal and Monga. Part of the reason those red shit have been on song this year is they’ve played into Wood as the big man and fed Elanga and Hudson-Odoi who are both rapid. You have to find where you are strong and have athletes to kill teams at speed. We did it last season under Enzo, he drilled a group of players into being comfortable with playing a style of football that they could then go and play at speed and we used Fatawu/Mavididi/KDH to go and kill teams in certain areas of the pitch.
Soumare was frustratingly good today, he suits coming on in games that have broken open and have gone a bit basketball. (Probably the most infuriating player of recent times, he can be anything from a 3/10 to a 7/10.)
If this team has that performance in them, there are no excuses about going down, you can blame the manager situation etc but if you really fancy it as a group of men and you’ve got something about you, you have personal pride and fight for it. Mixed feelings tonight, glad to go and crash the party but equally this season has just been a complete waste from piss poor recruitment and planning.

As much as I enjoy pissing on Forest’s Champions League hopes. That 2nd half performance just goes to show how criminal it is that our players have played so badly all season.

I think we will see a different type of striker. Someone with good hold up ability and an aerial presence.

Realistically Nelson will be sold in the next couple of seasons. After promotion and a season in the Prem he’ll be the next £50+ million sale. He’s pure English mustard and will be wanted by the elite.

Can’t wait for Monga and Evans to get a combined 5 minutes of pitch time after watching McAteer sprint down blind alleys and Ayew falling over looking for fouls all game.

Agree 100%. Real spanner been thrown in the works as the rest of the squad should get pelters. How do you separate the 2 ?
“Vardy’s a legend, the rest can **** off. Took us down with a whimper, not fit to be a fox”

Forest can **** off. Find your own legend instead of sniffing round ours.

Did I imagine it or does he thank everyone except Rudkin in that film?
You didn’t imagine it. Everyone else did, even Susan got a mention. Make of that what you will…

1 hour ago, Corky said:The whole Ranieri thing is nonsense. I don't remember a chant calling for his sacking in the ground, it was the most reluctant call for change ever. He was still getting his name sung in his final home game (Derby replay). It gets made out like we were storming the place demanding his removal. The players got a lot more criticism from us at the time for letting him down.
This is how I remember it. It felt like sacking your Grandad when it happened. I can’t really think of many Leicester fans turning on him, it was the right decision but the fans loved him and other clubs can **** off about their opinion on it for me.

I’m just trying to give you hints on how to go about if you feel that strongly! Me, I don’t. First world problem and all that!
I actually missed the banner as I was indoors in the box pouring champagne……Really thought you were doing something with that last line didn’t you? 🤣

I don't have to explain anything to you.
This forum is about opinions.
If you don't like a particular point of view, you can read past it.
I'm not here, to write a thesis about player fitness, energy levels, tactics, system performance, individual capacity, and whatever else.
Said it yourself it’s a forum, all I’m asking is why your opinion is Vardy (who’s touching 40) is still the best option to play up top for us on 140 bags a week. If you don’t want to answer that’s fine but it’s becoming obvious to me that it’s time for us to part ways with a club legend.

If we play the right way, he is lethal. Still plenty left in Vardy.
Explain to me then why we only started creating chances in the 2nd half and put the ball in the back of the net as soon as Daka came on? A man who is poor technically but is actually of a decent age to play football and is physically close to his prime?

Winks said he was going to buy a house in Nottingham to the club when we signed him but then back tracked and never moved. The club have been making it known that there is an expectation to live within a certain commute to Seagrave for some time now.

It won’t happen but our stadium should be empty for Southampton and Ipswich.

Don’t worry despite Guy Branston’s claims that Rudkin is the best thing since sliced bread. The plane is still flying.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Cooper shouldn’t be brought up ever. The bloke had Ricardo and Fatawu fully fit and actively chose to leave them on the bench for large parts of his tenure. Absolute fool.
