  1. Good for them to see a team worse than Bochum tbf.
  2. Not one important topic or outcome from that meeting - it's been that way for years. So boring reading every meeting minutes where the club are lambasted for poor communication and they just nod their heads before moving on. Supporter groups really need to withdraw support from these committees and meetings until there are assurances the club take them seriously.
  3. And the person who agreed to it was told by various people it'd be a bad idea to do so. The overall reaction seen to the FAB in recent weeks shouldnt be surprising to anyone who had conversations about it prior to it being confirmed.
  4. But the board hasn't demonstrated that. It's the complete opposite
  5. I would like to thank the previous chair of the Foxestrust board for agreeing with the FAB structure, thus creating no fan engagement but helping the club tick it's fan engagement box.
  6. You only needed the second paragraph here, FYI.
  7. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Of course
  8. Man drinks at football and uses expletives = ban. Cool πŸ‘
  9. Crazy thing here is seeing how many other bans are coming out of the woodwork. Dread to think how many there actually is...
  10. Saw his FB post. Would be very surprised if he's done anything actually wrong. Poor bloke
  11. Have tried the FA before and they're not the most supportive. They have alot of admin & fees around being an affiliated tournament before they'll help.
  12. Only blindfolded.
  13. Beaumont seems to be fully booked for May & June already. Didn't expect that. Have sent a message to AP
  14. I'm after ideas to where we can host this year's UFS charity football tournament as our current venue is a little limited in terms of size. For the past two years we've used The Grove, in Braunstone, which is great, but only has two pitches. Prior to this we used to host it at St Margaret's Pastures but ending up needing to move due to cost and reluctance around having a BBQ effectively making it impossible to raise money. Looking for venues that can ideally meet the following: - 3 or 4x 5/6-a-side Astro pitches - OK with having multiple Gazebos with a BBQ - OK with us selling our food and drink, including cans of beer - Close to Leicester (I.e not Coalville or Loughborough distance) Those points generally rule out Astro pitches on school properties, which really limits us and places such as Goals charge astronomical prices. We've currently got enquires out at a few places but wanted to see if there were other options we're potentially missing. Any ideas appreciated!
  15. FT aside, the more Fan groups around the better. Better transparency, engagement and accountability etc will only happen when more and more of the fan base are collectively represented. More strong, independent fan groups makes the club stronger whichever opinions each group holds. Shouting on social media how UFS or FT don't represent your personal social bubble (not a dig at you but more generally) won't get your views shared - it actually accomplishes nothing other than talking down on fans willing to make their views known. Every fan should consciously think about Supporters Groups or Trusts which they can align with.
  16. 100% Supporting people in our city is always the best thing we do 🀝
  17. Playing Coventry tonight at Leamington. Anybody have an idea about tickets? I can't find anything anywhere
  18. The amount of excuses people look for when discussing the atmosphere is hilarious. The songs are dreary, the 100 lads are boring, the football wasnt that fun! On the whole, the fans are the issue.
  19. Something the clubs voted for. Shouldn't let the club hide behind the narrative that this is coming from the Premier league - it's untrue and misleading.
  20. It's because those who generally opt to attend the club's 'Your 90 minutes' etc are generally of the demographic that like the clappers more/dislike some UFS tifos and it gives the club a warped view of fans opinions. Those meetings aren't the most fun to attend but they really need a better cross section of our fan base attending them.
  21. Agree, think Ryan is a great appointment for the FT tbf. Without talking about the others too negatively before they get going, one guy talking about being six sigma trained hardly gets the blood flowing. Arguably adds to the calls for change I think
  22. Couldn't see vardy walk out the tunnel and see the biggest fan tribute to a player the country has ever seen.
  23. Proud of the lads for the work they've done on this tifo with everything going on at the moment. Smashed it
