Wish that was the theme for both sides of that conversation tbf

The point is to actually have tangible information that the club can't simply keep ignoring and information that can be shared externally about how the fan base is feeling - not just a portion of people on Foxestalk or X. Things are bad at the moment but doing nothing definitely achieves nothing! As for far too many questions, it's 5 minutes of your time. Just crack on with, I'm sure everyone can sacrifice that time. Fill the survey out. End of 😉

Latest Fan Advisory Board (FAB) Meeting

Join one that does. Foxes Trust membership is still only a fiver and the more members we have, the more change we can push for. -
The survey has closed now but might be worth emailing [email protected] to make sure you're not missing any other emails.

Thought I'd share this as an urgent request from The Bridge in case anyone can help.

Foxes Trust Reform - the final step

Yeah that's right. I believe some of the board do the same if other commitments make physical attendance tough. -
Foxes Trust Reform - the final step

And for what it's worth, my ban was part of UFS's "balance of probability" bans without any evidence whatsoever. For those that know me, I don't keep it a secret and given Ian's comment this evening it's something he was well aware of too. That said, I'd rather be positive about the fact I've been elected and I'm genuinely looking forward to being more involved with the Trust.- 294 replies

Give whatever you can is all most of us would say. If you're sending via PayPal, just be sure to select 'Friends & Family' as then PayPal won't take a fee - unless there's currency conversion involved. Thanks in advance for the donation!

Not sure people's conspiracy theories about the BBC run as deep as Owynn but the conflation did make me laugh.

Likely embargoed by the club to allow all journos to release at the same time. RL were one of many interviewing top that day it seems.

Really hope the state of the club doesnt affect what the charity receive too much. They still need as much support as possible and it's a great cause.

Foxes Trust Reform - the final step
Jackubu replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
"I have received a number of complaints from Foxes Trust members - all making similar points around an interview with Ian Bason on the 'Blue Tinted Glasses' podcast. The complaints are stating that Mr. Bason has broken rules 6.1 & 6.6 of the election policy:- 6.1. Campaigning under the auspices of the Society will be restricted to the statements submitted by the candidates and to any hustings organised by the Society. 6.6. During the election neither the IEM, EMG nor the Society Board may provide advice to voting members as to the suitability of any candidate nor issue any voting advice to members collectively. Individual Society Board members who indicate a preference in public must make it clear that they do not speak on behalf of the Society Board and express a purely personal opinion. and that he has used this podcast to criticise other candidates / groups and give himself a clear advantage for his own position over other candidates. The Election Management Group (Jim Wheeler - Independent Chair, Alan Digby - Foxes Trust secretary, and Colin Phillips - Foxes Trust sub group member & Reform Group member) has reviewed the podcast and the complaints raised (and the opposing views). The EMG has agreed as follows:- Mr. Bason was invited on to the independent podcast to be interviewed (he did not initiate this as has been alleged). On the podcast, he was introduced as a member of Foxes Trust, and then introduced himself as a supporter firstly and then gave a brief history of Foxes Trust and his own roles. He has been a long established member of the Trust Board and former chair, so will naturally be associated with the Foxes Trust by most listeners. We do not believe he initiated the discussion on the election or the 'Reform Group', he was answering questions from the hosts and did not state that he was representing the Trust Board in his responses. The fact that this discussion took place more than half way through an interview of over 1 hour would indicate that this was not the primary motivation or intent behind the interview - and many listeners / viewers would not have got this far through the podcast if the intention was solely to gain a specific advantage in the election. When discussing the Reform Group intentions, Mr. Bason clearly stated it was HIS view, (as opposed to the view of the FT Board). He also clearly stated he believes having the Reform Group on the Board is a positive and the positive aspects of their involvement. At no point did Mr. Bason name any other candidate, or in fact even specifically indicate that he was a candidate. We are aware that other podcasts have been issued with the 'Reform Group' stating opposing opinions. It would therefore be unfair if Mr. Bason (or any other existing Board member) were unable to give personal opinions because of their existing position / role. So we do not believe that Mr. Bason was campaigning under the auspices of the society, and that therefore the Board were not giving voting advice to members. We have consulted with the Football Supporters Association on matters of policy before giving this response to ensure we have understood and are following the rules correctly. The objections have therefore been rejected, and as rule 7.1 - this decision of the EMG is final." This was the decision from the election committee. Jim is an independent person from Derby's trust who is overseeing the election. -
Effectively the attendance in the Kop at the start of the game would make a full stand display look poor. With the money the wider fan base puts into these displays, it's better to make sure it looks as good as poss once done.
-
It's also a big thing for the group to go for. UFS have had members at every single game in the past 12 years excluding the prior Manchester United (a) boycott + covid. It includes having members at Moscow & Zorya Luhansk away. Really hope it's the start of the changes we need.

Great to see, I hope more and more back it

How are they so incapable of doing something they do for every game. Just ridiculously incompetent -
He has 0 respect for anyone else so should be treated in the same way.

FWIW I think it was set up with the best intentions but the consistent enablement of BTG folk to laugh at or talk down on opposing opinions is exhausting. It's the regularly covered with "fantastic interview OPA, great questions" despite most questions going unasked.

They rely on a WhatsApp group for fan opinions and it's heavily dominated by those more aligned to the BMA. I'm in it and am probably guilty for not providing voice notes they can use for broadcast as that's where the majority of their fan voices come from. After a few bevs, I've generally shared my opinion in there, much to the disdain of someone like Graeme Smith from Foxes Pride. One of my favourite interactions came after the "rudkins gonna die" chants, where we all critiqued it but I outlined how giving it more air would enable those singing it. Graeme berated me before going on RL to say how surprised he was that exactly what I said would happen, happened. However, that chat is dominated by the likes of Graham Brock, Kate and Lox from Blue Tinted who have generally belittled anyone who has an opinion more aligned to foxes talk. I don't blame Owynn for this but GB in particular has bullied a couple of people out of that chat and ultimately others are seemingly tired of trying to interject. That said, I look forward to Lox's response here rubishing what I've said because Chairman Mao knows best.

My understanding is that they have the data and are listed as an organisation who are obliged to respond to FOI requests. Confused that they've not even bothered to respond
