  1. So has Jon Rudkin
  2. Chelsea makes sense with the context they're likely selling Gallagher. Probably already identified KDH before Enzo moved over. Can also see him getting plenty of games if Enzo was to replicate KDH on the left side, not many Chelsea players can play that position (though I'm sure a few of their stockpile can very well..) Gallagher played on the left side of midfield under Poch. Rinse them Jon. Tactical genius to get Brighton to push Chelsea's fee up while we get Moder for cheap for squad depth.
  3. Possibly still negotiating with Forest for Steve Rands and a few others.
  4. I agree with you on the relegation 'do a Burnley'. Enzo has that weird media charm but to be fair to him, we can't ignore how so many players have said positive things about their personal development and learning of football due to Enzo. You want a manager the players back, can learn from, play for. Forest seemed to do it for Cooper even with their masses of players so there's hope. But what have players and coaches said about Cooper for comparison? https://trainingground.guru/articles/steven-reid-what-makes-steve-cooper-‘so-special’ https://www.coachesvoice.com/cv/andy-reid-nottingham-forest-steve-cooper/ https://www.swanseacity.com/news/sam-surridge-hails-cooper-after-england-u21-call Positives
  5. I think he'll be actively involved with the youth and willing to give chances to Nelson, Alves, Braybrooke, Cover, Wanya.. He seems willing to adapt and is constantly learning the game. I think he's probably been told to adapt to what we have rather than how he ended things at Forest (club requirement of possession based football won't have changed overnight,) And I do think we've got a better chance against the top 6 playing his 10-0 than Enzo's 3241. There's faith he can develop a Plan A and a Plan B, utilise wing backs like Potter would have intended, so the fans should be happier.
  6. To be fair, If he's coming in I can see it being under a directive of "possession based football", he is adaptable and changes formations a lot. He'll have to use the players he's got, abandoning last year's spine of Mads, Vestergaard, Winks is just unlikely. Cooper is also more likely to blend in youth and be active with the academy, which we want.

  8. But I want Cooper
  9. This is classic Jon Ridler. Potter is close but stalling / undecided. So the Ridler puts out to his not so trusty journo friend that we're pursuing Cooper. Potter sees in the news that we're now backing a different candidate and has to quickly decide to get some easy money or sit on his arse waiting for a better job (of which there absolutely no guarantee.) He's probably on the phone to the Ridler’s PA now asking for an explanation, but Jon's gone out for a late breakfast and will be back at 16:55, so if Potter wants the job he better commit, and the Ridler will fax over the details. Welcome Potter.
  10. It's Barwell FC's year tbh. £160 for a season ticket for 20, 21.. 19 home matches (depending on how many teams go bust as we're all spending £160 for a 5-0 home loss to Fulham.)
  11. Yeah and they're already adapted to it in possession due to the bank of 3 and 2, could easily use the players we've got where a RWB (Justin?) and Kristianson play wider and further up allowing Mavididi and Fatawu to be more central, where we want them. Pretty sure he did something similar with Chelsea, a 3-2-5 which isn't a world away from Maresca.
  12. Potter is known not to be rigid I think so will adapt to fit our attacking 3 probably, it'll have to be a 343 / 433 or sacrifice one, or both wingers which I think is doubtful. 3 CBs RWB, LWB, 2 CMs Fatawu, Vardy, Mavididi.
