The game has moved on from this idea, possession is the best way to win games. It only works if you have exactly the right players for it. Without a ball playing keeper, centre backs and midfielders. It all fall apart because your asking players to do something they aren't comfortable with. Mistakes happens and then the fans turn, your toast.
We're in League One and Top and Rudkin still want us to play like f***ing Barcelona.

There's no limit to how far we can fall under this leadership. They're asleep at the wheel. More than a year in L1 and the club is almost definitely going to run out of money

Looks like people at the club are putting all their energy into this pathetic anniversary match than actually finding a manager and preparing properly for the season. Says it all really absolute shambles

To be honest I kind of agree with Piper. I’d be looking to keep Jakub, Souttar (if possible) and Choudhury (unpopular opinion) but they are players who can handle the physicality and toughness of League One and actually do the ugly side of the game
Then build around the younger lads like Aluko, Braybrooke, Gray, Silko, Monga, Page and Cartwright, let them develop together and hopefully grow into something.
The absolute priority has to be signing a proper striker for this level if there’s any money available at all.
Sell or release the rest. Couldn’t give a f*ck about them. They’ve been part of one of the worst Leicester sides in our history. Force them out - I don't care how
Top won't sell and Rudkin won't go anywhere either sadly.
Manager wise I'm torn - Rowett had 2 wins 8 draws, 4 defeats in 14 games. It's not the best. But personally I don't mind him as I don't think he'll tolerate any bullshit. Also who is out there that's any better? With someone new it could be another disaster like Cifuentes. At some point constantly chopping and changing managers has to stop

Sheffield Wednesday winning comfortably after announcing their new ownership

Zero chemistry and zero cohesion in this team.

Can't stand the careless attitude of our players

When the club is such a mess it overshadows everything else for me. It’s sad he’s leaving like this. At his peak, he was arguably one of the best right backs in the Premier League, absolute class. But that was a long time ago. His legs have gone and he's been poor this season. Really poor. Definitely time to go but still, he gave us some good memories

I live down south so pretty much all of these are manageable trips to me
Reading
Luton
Wycombe
AFC Wimbledon
Bromley
Leyton Orient
Oxford
MK Dons
I doubt I'll do them all but might try to get tickets for a few of them. Seeing some different grounds is literally one of the only positives of being in League 1 I think, that and seeing some of our academy players get more game time.

The pain continues. It never ends does it

Didn't get a flicker of a reaction from me that goal. I want our young players to do well and that's it
-
1) place the whole squad on the transfer list and accept the first offer
2) sack Rudkin
3) if you can't do number 2, then sell the club

Basically it's shocking and sad to see how far the club have fallen. It's the lowest point in our history for me and all my time supporting us
Simply put - We have too many overpaid players with not enough fight. The club as a whole has gone from having that underdog mentality that made us successful to being arrogant and complacent.
It's going to be a long road back from here that's for sure.
-
17 wins in 80 games tells you everything you need to know. Half hearted performances from overpaid players paired with complacency and a delusional 'we'll be fine' attitude at the club.
You have to somehow cling on to some sort of hope things will change. Keep holding the club to account, demand higher standards, demand better. Refuse to accept this sh*te. As fans that's the one thing you can control. We can't stay silent.

Can we rush the control room in the stadium where they select the music room and play Anonymous Fox playlist instead of when you're smiling?

He wrecked our football team,
He came from Thailand and now he's never around
We're shit at the back and crap in attack
League one of England,
you made us sing that....

Ok this is my best guess. I’ve had to include quite a few U21s, but realistically I think we could see up to around 13/14 players leave one way or another. That leaves us with a very young, inexperienced squad and only a small handful of senior players left. There are positives though. It gives young players a genuine pathway into the first team, clears out a lot of the overpaid tossers who’ve completely let us down and hopefully gives us something to believe in again maybe? A fresh, young side - doubt it will be perfect, but they might actually shows some fight??
