6.35am train for me. 4 changes

We love collecting shit goalkeepers

He's obviously trying to position himself as a credible owner. I found him pretty measured and he made some good points about running us sustainably. At least he sounds like a grown up and not a spoilt child like Top. But ultimately, if his personal wealth really is around £2m, that's nowhere near enough so key thing is who these other investors actually are and whether they've got the finances to back it up. We're also not 'Leicester Football Club' pal.

Just watched the extended highlights back and Page was poor yesterday for four goals. What’s happened to his touch? The first comes from a horrific touch, while for the second and third we’re closing down in midfield (obviously Martin's instructions) only to completely fail to make a tackle or even foul. And the fourth goal he doesn't track his runner. What’s the point in closing someone down if you’re just going to let them turn you so easily? It's ****ing weak as piss! I know he's young, but after that performance he needs to be made to watch those errors back and be benched for a few games. There are problems all over the pitch, but sorting the midfield has to be priority number one. You aren’t getting out of this league if you’re not willing to put a tackle in and do the ugly side of the game.

Pretty happy with how it looks. Definitely starting to feel a bit more optimistic
-
You're not the only one
-
Not sure about the incomings but I hope Mavididi, Faes and Okoli all go. Skipp would be a bonus.
-
Disappointing. Was hoping he'd be amongst the goals this season but he looks knackered
-
Bristric ****ing standing still when the goal is gaping ffs
-
Welcome to Leicester Ilari, I've decided you're going to be the best CB in the league already. No pressure
-
Admittedly, I only watched the first half but genuinely proud of the performance. We played with purpose and quality and I think the lads can hold their heads high. More of that in the league and I imagine the results will follow and hopefully the atmosphere will improve too
-
Shows what can happen when you drain the f*cking SWAMP. We have some genuine talent in our squad. Showing some bollocks here. Play this team in the league Russel
-
Credit where it's due, some very nice football. Far far far more purpose than we've shown in our league performances
-
Apart from obvious issues in defence I actually like the team. Yes it's a bit lightweight but these boys will only ever improve by playing competitive games at the end of the day so f*ck it. Regardless of the results it's an opportunity for them to impress
-
I'd rather have Kevon Gray at CB than Luke Thomas even if he is completely unproven.
-
Hope he'll go permanently. Another one of Steve Cooper's signings who's been a complete and utter disaster
-
I love signings like this. Relatively unknown, low fee, but plenty of potential and upside. More of this please.

Illary Kangas...nemmy?

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links

Is John Souttar really as bad as everyone says he is? -
Russell Martin - Confirmed as First Team Manager

If I were him, I’d be banging down the Sporting Director’s door and making it crystal clear. Having a successful season depends on this - moving on certain players and bring in reinforcements Thomas, Skipp, Okoli, Souttar and Reid should all be on the list. All up for sale. We've done it with Mavididi and Faes, they are out in the cold. Yes it leaves the squad thin but we must have targets get what we can and reinvest. Even if some of them are loans. Who cares. We need togetherness. Players 'desperate to be here' as Martin himself says. So cut our losses and ACT. You cannot have players who aren’t fully committed bringing down the mentality of a young squad that actually wants to fight and play for the shirt. Minimum requirements: 2 CBs A physical, brave CM who wants the ball and can drive us forward Another striker The next week defines our season. -
He doesn't seem a natural right back but he's got the qualities to be a decent CB I think. Especially his athleticism

Burton Albion (h) post-match 1-2 defeat
Haywood_6 replied to MC Prussian's topic in Leicester City Forum
Genuinely think my local team Farnborough who play in National League south could beat us. We're an absolute sack of shite. All I think when I look at our defence is the Benny Hill theme tune. And it's not even funny because yesterday was a chance for a fresh start. I'd put everything to one side and was looking forward to the game with some optimism, we went and did that ....at home... To Burton ****ing Albion. You absolute waste of space bunch of ****s -
It's not even just about him being poor with the ball at his feet. How many times does he get so easily turned because he can't position himself properly. Watch back the highlights. Both times he jumps in and misses the ball. He's an utterly useless defender
