Way to early to judge if it was a good window, if anything I’ve got a slightly more pessimistic view on it based on experience over the last few years: - The number one player I wanted out the door was Faes - still here. As is Okoli and BDCR, both huge parts of our double relegation. - Yes the likes of Ayew and Daka have gone but it’s nothing to praise, their well-paid, long contracts have simply ended? - Have we gone and replaced one set of dross with more dross on long contracts? Cullen, Chaplin, Burns etc. - Jury’s still out of course. - We finally get rid of our pointless, wage-consuming 3rd goalkeeper for free (Vietes) - and replace him with one of Russels mate. Will probably never play. Why not promote youth to emergency 3rd choice? I get having 3 keepers when you’re flush in the PL/Champ, but we are a cash-tight in Lg1, these ‘sacrifices’ can be made - We currently have 5 recognised centre backs. Plus Thomas. Plus Gray. Commendable would have been successfully shifting Okoli and Faes for fees. - Russell made a big point at the start of the window of not wanting too many temp loans and having permanent signings instead. We ended up with 4 loanees. I don’t mind it, but just doesn’t make sense. - It was time for Hamza to go. Any fee for him would have been valuable ‘pure profit’. Other clubs are massively using this loophole. We let him go for free. There’s more but I’ll stop. Won’t fall for this ‘great window’ we all think we have every year, until we start seeing some real success. Just look at the last few years.

Can we copy + paste from 2 years ago? Hermansen Justin (LB) Faes Vestegaard Ricardo Winks Ndidi Fatawu Bilal (KDH alternative, not bad) Mavididi Replacement for Vardy its pretty much there, although it wasn’t pretty in the end, we did win the league with some ease. I’m not a fan of some of the names there but if it gets us up, hold on to them?

A different approach…

Kristiansen has to be one of the worst players to put on a Leicester shirt. Seriously don’t understand what some of you see in him. Effort, yes. Zero technical ability. It’s like playing with a man down.

This line up may look odd, but we’ve lost 7 on the bounce, something needs to change. I’d go for both a change in formation and personnel. Jakub Woyo Coady Vestegaard Faes Justin (yes, on the left, like 23/24) Hamza Winks Facundo BEK Vardy Let’s be honest, any combination of our wingers is not working, so just don’t play them. Woyo pushing up and Justin dropping into LB as needed, like we did 23/24 but with the protection of a back 3. Hamza is controversial, I just feel we need a ball winner in there, Soumare and Skipp just aren’t doing that role there.
