285 for Coalville, which at Step 6, is some going. Better average than we were getting at Step 3 five years ago.

All of the Trident League play off games are available to stream here for £11. https://www.clubbertv.co.uk

Coalville return to winning ways against a stubborn Pinxton side. One game left later today at home against Sandiacre Town. The second half of the season has been top 5 form.

First defeat since the beginning of March for Coalville, despite hitting the post twice in a matter of seconds. Nice little ground at Blackstones and a tidy footballing side. Double-header at home for Coalville over Easter to end the season.

There’s a few in Blaby, the Vicarage in Whetstone, and all a short drive to the ground.

7 wins in 9 for Coalville. No goal conceded in 443 minutes of football. Aiming for a top ten finish.

I grew up in Cosby. Saffron’s ground is on the outskirts of the village next to Whetstone golf course. Parking will be interesting. Cosby has one pub left, The Bull’s Head. It’s on the road I lived on as a kid. Nice boozer, but it might struggle to accommodate a few hundred Nuneaton supporters.

Technically, we were resigned from the league, but you're right, it was a huge sliding doors moment. 5 points clear with 3 to play and we completely froze. Honestly, I think Coalville would've struggled at NLN level. Andy Peaks did a fantastic job at Rushden on a limited budget and has done wonders at Tamworth with more money to play with. They were in danger of being dragged into a relegation scrap when he took over. Great to see McGlinchey go on a scoring run too. I hope Tamworth make the play offs.

Our first match highlights video in nearly a year. Good result on Tuesday for Coalville. A couple more wins and we'll be safe.

I’m looking forward to a Saturday off. Coalville aren’t back in action until the 15th.
-
In fairness, it may have been the only shot on target from us, but it was a nice finish from Jordan. 2 in 2 for the young forward now. Pretty abject that aside.
-
Dual reg just because of the way it works, but certainly with a view to being at Coalville long-term.
-
I don’t think there’s any chance of Leroy returning.
-
What can I say, he loves the club. Third stint as a Raven for McManus now.
-
I have no doubt we’ll stay up, and yes, we will be looking to be far more competitive next season.
-
As far as the squad goes we did start from scratch. Come down on Tuesday. We're playing Clifton All Whites at home.
-
It is a little more than we would've hoped for, but also not an unrealistic amount given where we started from. Having Scott back is a massive plus.
-
I hope you didn’t bother with Barwell!

That’s nice to hear. The football might be Step 6, but I think the match day experience is still as good as it was. The food has improved massively and the programme is well worth the £2.

We still have a core fanbase and are taking good numbers away from home. A lot of casual attendees now go and watch Harborough, which is understandable as it's Step 3 football. We've won two on the bounce after an awful run of defeats, and a few new signings have made a positive contribution, namely Callum Steer, Kane Bartholomew and Jacob Sturgess. Our budget is competitive, but we're looking for additional ways to create consistent revenue outside of match day. There are a couple of outliers in our league who have budgets x 4 what we have, but as we've seen many times, money is no guarantee of success. Having a full pre-season and starting with a group that know each other will help massively. Everybody is still learning on the job on and off the pitch.

We’re still doing well with an average attendance of 333. The late inspection probably put a few off yesterday and some regulars were at Villa Park. I’ve been pleased with the attendances this season. Hopefully, with promotion a possibility next season, we’ll see the gate increasing further. It’s tough starting from scratch.

He has bags of ability but not nearly enough application.

It changed my life in ways I could never have foreseen. It took me from my love of the game slipping away to becoming utterly committed to a football club. We haven't had too much joy this season, and it hurts more when we lose. Once we get it right, it will mean the world. Great question. Non-league Football is virtually the only thread I read on Foxestalk these days. Merry Christmas, everyone.
