This is exactly why we published our article to make fans aware, so hopefully it will minimise the amount of fans having to go to the ticket office and queues building up at turnstiles while they struggle with the issue. The club has sent e-mails out later yesterday flagging up the issue & advising what to do, but we are not sure what the circulation list of the e-mails were, hopefully all fans registered with digital tickets for the 2 games at the KPS this weekend

With General Sale available on Tuesday, we always felt this game would be unlikely. but will be pushing for another 3pm Saturday kick off, but in the League (so QPR is next one that UFS & FT have discussed lobbying for)

Matchday Ticket Office & Sales Centre Opening Hours The Sales Centre is open 9am until 5pm and the Matchday Ticket Office is open 2pm until Half Time on Tuesday 30 January (Swansea City)

Realistically "walk ups" are not going to happen and that applies for many clubs. All clubs want each person registered on their databases All Supporters Groups in the country are told this is based around concerns about fans with stadium bans getting in/avoiding away fans accessing home tickets etc, of course there is a marketing of future games aspect to this too, however under GDPR rules each fan has to opt in for such communications and the clubs feel they aren't reaching fans enough on ticket availability due to opt outs

Foxes Trust and Union FS are trying to increase awareness of General Sale for the Brum & Swansea games, hence making social media posts and website posts about it (our website posts go onto Newsnow which accesses a wider audience than message boards, we are trying all routes

In case fans aren't Season Ticket Holders or Members but want to go to the Huddersfield game Supporters with a Minimum of One Home or One Away Priority Point could buy tickets from 23 December (5pm Online) So fans with no purchasing history cannot get access, unless via a ST holder

This just re-enforces what other posters have been saying: 1) You have to know a Season Ticket holder and the ST holder be willing to add you to their account (therefore if the said "guest" of ST holder causes any trouble, the ST holder could have repercussions) 2) You have to have a mobile phone that is suitable to access the tickets If your situation means you cannot achieve both 1) & 2), and you are not a member, you can't get tickets Both Union FS and ourselves have been separately talking to fans in this situation, have now compared notes and intend to talk to other LCFC fans groups after Christmas about our next steps

Can you private message us on here with some specific details. We have previously been told that fans without smartphones would not be penalised and a route to tickets would be provided in such instances

There is a review on the clubs fan engagement currently underway, one of the results of this is the new position you have mentioned above, we have been involved in conversations for many months and an update was given to all fans groups at the FCC meeting about 10 days ago. Had we still been in the Premier League, then a Fans Advisory Board would have been up & running this season (as mandated by the PL), it isn't mandated by the EFL, however we expect the club to publish details in the early months of 2024.

We raised it much earlier in the season (as it was predictable for a number of games this season) and unfortunately the club have not changed their stance as yet. Our understanding is that fans who have any buying history on the LCFC system should be able to get tickets, so if anyone on here has, then it's worth contacting the club it's fans with no record of buying that can't get access, which we feel penalises "the next generation of fan" - which was the main point we made.
