I enquired about a box in 2024 (mainly out of curiosity) and was told that the price was £44k + VAT.
If true that the prices haven’t changed since then, who in their right mind would be purchasing a box, especially in this economic climate.
Considering the club are owned by a merchandising giant, they really are poor at pricing. It’s really as simple as this, get bums on seats and then they will spend more on merchandise and food/beverages.
That’s a turnover of £2m+. Given the number of concession seats in the Family stand, it is likely that the 430 seats in executive boxes are creating more revenue than those 5,000 seats.

Man City’s charges are not across the seasons where we finished in 5th anyway.
Legacy benefit would last indefinitely.

We didn't breach the rules in that season.
I think he was referring to the scenario where if we sued Man City then they could too.

The potential repercussions of this are berserk.
Man City and Chelsea cost us 2 CL spots. It’s inconceivable we’d be in the situation we are now if it wasn’t for that.
You then get into a causation debate, should Leeds sue Man City because our breach that may have affected them was down to Man City breaking the rules.

Dunno mate, but no way we can afford to pay his wages, so we'll accept any low ball offer that comes in, I'd imagine
Where’s the low ball offer coming from? He’s started in 1 Championship win since November and his attitude stinks. No PL team is going to touch him or, I doubt, any club with promotion aspirations. That just leaves clubs who can’t afford him.
The only chance he goes is if we buy out his contract but his agent isn’t going to entertain that unless he’s got somewhere for him to go as a free agent.

It’s alright, the way this club are predictably going through the motions I would say at least one of the bottom 4 spots will be ours. Will that be the first ever team relegated 3 times consecutively?
It would be a first from top flight to 4th tier. The closest examples are Luton who had 3 successive relegations from the Championship to non-league, and Northampton who went from top flight to 4th tier in 4 seasons.

I’d say would’ve been better if he’d been selected
could have been been part of the sale deal as an add on
Don’t see a downside if he’d been pickedHe does an ACL and just gets a wage off us for a year.

Is this the game where Richard Smith hand balled it on the line? Best save of the night
Oh I don’t remember that. I do however remember Simon Grayson juggling the ball with his hands at Tranmere in a playoff semi.

In relation to Patson - Pray for the poor bastards who are having to produce a highlights reel as he’s touted to potential suitors 🙏
Most of it will be in black and white with a posh bloke commentating two seconds ahead of the pictures.

But wasn't the Mars Bar better at scoring than Daka. It always hits the spot for me.
I believe it helped Daka work and rest but we’re still waiting for the play part. One for us gen-Xers.

Probably what they will manage to do with Man City.
Let them off and invent a rule so the next poor fvcker that does anything similar get dissolved whilst Man City continue to defraud the whole sport.
Or 115 new rules in their case

I mean legally, it’s a ****ing huge decision, I’m amazed given the decision taken it’s only taken this long.
Especially when there’s no news on Man City 8 years after the investigation started, 4 years after they were charged and 18 months since the hearing concluded.

I love vardy... probably my only true sporting hero..... BUT... what evidence do we have that playing alongside him or having him in the squad will improve the other strikers? Didn't work for Daka did it... or kelechi, or kramaric....
I think we need to except that his time with us was special, but that the club needs to evolve.
You did well to stop at three. To a greater or lesser extent you could have added Beckford, Wood, Nugent, Perez, Musa, Okazaki, Slimani and Ulloa, imagine that’s 11 off the top of my head and still not exhaustive.
Bloody hell, we spent £150m + wages + agents, trying to replace him while he was still here!

Yes, apparently they introduced a rule but not a sanction to go with it. That's why their is so much speculation about the punishment.
It seems short sighted not to have included guidelines on sanctions but if they had, it would be difficult to apply in a play-off situation. It’s either in or out at this point, I suspect it will be in.

For a club our size, the EPL will always be a fragile existence. Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford etc. are all only a couple of poor transfer windows from a similar fate.
-
Football fans are, in general, obsessed with the future. Giving up success this season to be in a bigger competition you won’t win the following season is just weird.

The irony will be when he only gets offers from L2.
In all seriousness, isn’t this the cause not the symptom? Faes, VK, Winks, Skipp, Vesty, Daka, Ayew, BDCR etc. all think they’re too good for the league they’ve put us in. It’s going to be a fascinating summer and hopefully a few, if not all of them, will return to earth with a bang.

We’re gonna need a player who can fall over and look confused to the referee next season.
