Biggest mistake in our history tbqh
I think that gong goes to appointing Peter Taylor instead of Moyes.

I think the bigger mistake was selling Kasper.

Jamie Vardy had stayed for one more year.
How much of a difference would a proper striker have made for us? Were we always doomed this season, or could one quality forward have made all the difference?
im torn on this one because we generally haven’t created much and Vardy isn’t the sort to create his own chances.
obviously we’d be better off but I’m curious if we have anyone that thinks promotion would have been attainable?
Vardy turned okish passes into great chances. We look less creative because Ayew and Daka have no nouse between them.

This is the thing. Will it be a kick up the arse like ‘91 or a lesson not learned like ‘07?

As far as the youth is concerned I would imagine he’s protecting them from a pretty toxic atmosphere at the KP. If Rowett is given a pre season I expect to see much more of the young guns.

As part of the clubs inclusivity programme tonight’s fixture is for agoraphobics.

Please point to the bit where I used the word fact or suggested anybody with a different view is in denial. For some reason I still can't see it....
It’s a clear statement, if you can’t see that I’ll leave it with you. Have a lovely day.

When did I say it was certain? I expressed an opinion—I didn't state that it was 'fact' or accuse anybody who disagreed of being in denial. That was you.

We're one point below West Brom, four points below Blackburn and five points below Portsmouth, with a better goal difference than any of them. There are 10 games to go. Please explain—preferably in way that at least has a semblance of logic—how relegation is a 'fact'?
Or is it merely that some people are so emotionally fragile that they insist on rigidly claiming we're definitely going down—when that clearly is not the case—as a bizarre coping mechanism?
Actually it was you that claimed survival was certain and there are facts to suggest it isn’t.

That’s right, when all else fails a bare faced refusal to look facts in the face is bound to see you through

Let’s not get carried away, he hasn’t played in a winning team since November.

They'll be looking at better players than him
As will Lincoln if they go up. The very thought of being a league below Lincoln makes me shiver.

I think we will come away with 3 points
Point 1 we don’t have a striker
Point 2 Luke Thomas will start
Poimt 3 Mcateer or Hirst will score
What’s this “or” you’re talking about?

Better than some of the squads that stayed up. We went down with something like the third best defence in the league.
Our squad included players that were more than proven at that level, Oakley/Clemence/Howard, plus McAuley was solid and went onto have a good top flight career, as did Stearman. Hume was half decent at that level and used to get double figures for us.
I will always stand that we should not have gone down. I don't even think we'd have gone down with Megson in charge. Agree that Allen started the mess (as did Mandaric overseeing it all, getting involved and letting it happen) but for being the man in charge while it happened Holloway goes down as one of the worst for me (it is hard to compare different levels/squads/budgets throughout history, granted).
I believe we’re the only team ever to be relegated conceding less than a goal a game.

Anyone know where I can get mine removed
I’m telling you, it hurts like hell! I’ve had more than a dozen tattoos and barely felt a thing but removal is like being splattered with boiling fat.

With our run in, a big up lift in effort and organisation and better goal difference than those around us, I think we’re going to be okay.

Honestly don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility if we go down that we get such a massive sanction we go down again!
That would give us the opportunity to win the Papa John’s and L2 and complete the set of domestic trophies this century.
Actually, on the subject of the Papa John’s, could we end up playing our own u21s next season?

Sunderland away 1995. We stopped on the hard shoulder of the A1 next to a field that had cylindrical hay bails. Proceeded to have races pushing them from one side to the other, then left them all in the middle of the field next to each other. Should have got the farmer scratching his head.

What’s really weird is we can leave any time we like but choose not to.

I’d say Ricky P is as good a finisher as we’ve got while JJ is out. He can’t score less than none.

Skipp’s goal was the 21st equaliser in our games this season.
