  1. I honestly don't get it.

    We've broken the rules.

    Multiple times. Massively.

There has to be some form of punishment as per the current framework, it would be absolute nonsense for us not to be punished.

6 points, to my simple mind, seems light in terms of how much we've overspent.

At a time when we need to come together and focus on saving this sh1tshow of a season and potentially the future of the club, throwing this all up in the air again and making us look all Andrew Windsor about the punishment we got is such a grubby look and does zero to help focus the minds of the manager and the players.

I am not his wife, not his aunt…and I am not a fake account….just look me up on Facebook, Hilde Faes and I have 186 (approximately, because I remove regularly) friends, I am born as a Faes myself….(I see you like Youri Tielemans) …..and my account on this forum is already from 2022…I did not marry a Faes, I am one myself…

@Sly….or Sly_Fox….you have an answer on the ASMONACO forum from the Monaco fans and why dont you write here what they say in decent words about this forum, and  these Leicesterfans….translate it, you are not a coward are you, your slyness is not so sly after all…You are not taking serious on that AS Monaco forum….you forgot they knew Wout already from his time with Reims….and has been chosen there as  player of the year…have the guts to translate here what they write about the fans on here….

Just out of curiosity/call it a hunch, have you ever spent a night in Wout's wheelie bin with a vacuum flask, sandwiches, high powered zoom binoculars and a hunting knife?

Reading (A) in 2005 often goes under the radar because of the Charlton game that followed, but that was a good win at the time, we took a big following and it had last minute 'limbs' as well.

Yeah that was a great day, we filled out that end of the ground, they were either in the Prem or smashing the granny out of the Championship and that Scowcroft winner right in front of us at the death was sweet!

I was in my early teens when Pearson’s second spell started, so all I’ve really known is an upwards trajectory, clear identity and pride and increasing success until 4/5 years ago, and now it’s come to this. I’m completely numb now and feel a complete lack of connection to the club.

I have a vague memory of going to games when I was little in the Championship when we were very average and eventually got relegated to league 1. Genuine question: in those years did it feel equally soulless, or was there more of a connection and identity and fight within the club that allowed you to connect and fall in love with it?

It was completely different, there was no real disconnect like there is now with the club, just a bunch of sub par players who tried their best but ultimately weren't much cop. The relegation felt like an inevitability after many years of circling the drain.

Now? Just totally out of love with the club, the owners, the players and the game in general which is really sad after what's happened over the last 12 years.

I think we´ve found the goal-scoring centre forward we´ve all been asking for!

To be honest, I´d rather have Vesty up front than Daka

You're absolutely right - it's everything that's wrong with the current new breed of Temu Pep's that are stinking out the game. Everything has to be straight off a playboard with any idea of spontaneity or left field thinking completely dismissed or not even considered. Man alive, even when we had actual functioning effective centre forwards back in the 90s, the managers at the time spotted a way to win matches by throwing a big fella with decent feet up top (Walshy, Elliott) who would be a nuisance and who knew where the goal was.

And now, we have our own Temu Pep persisting with one of Daka/Ayew and the competition winner Carranza when week after week after week after week, it doesn't work. He obviously doesn't think Evans is the solution, so find another solution. He wouldn't even think of chucking Vesty (or whoever) up top, because in the new world order of bland, sterile, by the numbers football, thinking out of the box isn't part of their makeup.

I just want to add the thought of Lurch being our lord and saviour who propels us to Championship glory makes me feel a little bit queasy, but I can't deal with seeing the same old nonsense every week with the same result.

    What a load of shit

Ayew got 5 in 30 in the prem playing in various positions.

For a team getting spanked most weeks and going on ridiculous runs of not scoring,

its down to the manager to get the best out of players let’s not pretend he couldn’t get 10 goals form 46 games in the championship if utilised correctly and we created more than 1xg a game

There are old scrubbers like Josh Windass on 3 goals already who managed 13 last year and a 34 year old Nahki Wells managed 10 goals last season.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Ayew

Over a 16 year career and nearly 500 games, he's averaging a goal every 6.5 games, playing in teams like Palace, Marseille and Villa.

I dont mind the bloke, but pinning your hopes on him bagging winners at any kind of regular intervals is always likely to end up in disappointment.

  7. The silence from the club is absolutely deafening. If there was to be even a hint that there would be some reinvestment of the 60 million that's come in, you'd be prepared to cut them some slack...everything that was great about us has been slowly dismantled leaving a pub team, a club that has no clue about building a relationship with the fans, a soon to be half empty stadium and a (rightly) hacked off fanbase. Depressing.

  8. Bear with me (I've not been drinking, honest) but in light of our current lethargic shambles of a midfield that we currently have with zero drive or ability to beat a man, is it not worth putting him in the midfield pivot instead of Soumare. At least he shows regularly a desire to drive forwards (albeit at centre half that leaves lurch on his own).

I caveat this by saying I feel physically sick writing this, but I can't bear to see either of Soumare or Winks in a City shirt again.

  9. I hate this club. I get some people's views on him that we might be overrating him or he maybe hasn't delivered that much, but he quite clearly has the capability and potential to rip it up in this league, as opposed to Winks, Soumare and Skipp who never have and never will. LCFC just reminds me now of that car boot sale stand that has a few good bits that get picked up early, and all you're left with are Danny Baker Own Goals and Gaffs DVD boxsets, an alarm clock, a Spice Girls 1998 calendar and a signed photo of Chico X Factor.
