A squad that has minimal physical presence A squad that has minimal pace All of this in a division where pace and power over technique and style is the way to succeed. Martin's f'kin useless, don't get me wrong, but the make up of this group of players, allied to the fact we have no cash to change that make up, means we are only going one way. Good luck to him. I kind of felt we saw the real Abdul last season, a player absolutely capable of scoring a goal out of nothing but when the chips were down (IMO) he didn't have the footballing minerals or nous to look at how he could have a bigger impact on games if the worldies didn't come off. Maybe better coaching might see him in a better light, but nothing but good luck to him.

I honestly don't think he'll go on to have that great a career. His game is based around worldie moments which will be limited against better defenders. My argument with him is that he has such a low football IQ against his innate ability. He has a stack more natural ability than say Marc Albrighton, but I know which one I want as part of my team every day of the week.
