Potter absolutely won't come now - he'd be crazy if he did. His stock was stupidly high (and probably deservedly so) at Brighton, and that's been tarnished by what's happened at Chelsea - adding the relegation of LCFC to his CV on top of that is not a great look.

Baby N'Golo running past (what seemed) the entire Swansea team at their place before handing it off to JV to set up Mahrez hat trick goal. Man, I miss him.

Having a quick glance at the Brighton forum a wonderfully staggering amount of their fans seem keen, nay excited at the prospect of him taking over from Potter.
And I thought this place was mental

Part of this was simultaneously trying to change his role. But witg the rught one 2 one coaching and video work he can be sorted. His footbalking skills anfmd fitness are a given... we just need ti change what he is trying to do and his decision making

I really rated Mike Newell for his time with us, always looked like he should be playing a cut above us (and ended up getting a PL medal) - him and Nicky Cross were a decent pairing up top in those dark late 80s days

Who remembers that total tool Lee Philpot saw him in Baileys just after he signed for a huge amount was totally crap and very high opinion of himself
Baileys was shut from the early 80s onwards, Kiesas took over but was similarly shut circa 86. Was it Simpkins/Manilla/Caspers you saw him in? I saw him there quite often in some dreadful black leather trousers.

Our Next Manager

This - all day long. There is zero upside for Potter taking this job right now, if we get relegated he'll have gone from the most wanted UK manager to the guy who failed at Chelsea and then took Leicester down. It would make no sense now for him to take the job - next season a different matter, but now would be mental on his part
