I honestly don't think he'll go on to have that great a career. His game is based around worldie moments which will be limited against better defenders. My argument with him is that he has such a low football IQ against his innate ability. He has a stack more natural ability than say Marc Albrighton, but I know which one I want as part of my team every day of the week.

Always had a soft spot for the Pies. As well as that ZDS win in the rain, I have happy memories of us playing them in 93( I think), they'd just revamped the ground and Derek Pavis came on the pitch at half time to address the crowd and got drowned out by us lot singing at full pelt over him - he lost his sh1t and told us we were a 'bloody disgrace' I'm pretty sure that same match saw us unveil our marquee, club record transfer busting signing at 360K of Mark Blake. We lost 4-1. Heady days.

I missed Julian's goal in the Swindon playoff final. I'd completely thrown my toys out the pram at three nil and not even looking like scoring, I wanted to go home but my mates wouldn't so I went into the concourse to ring my missis on the payphone, whilst I was talking to her, Julian scored so I went back. That Thommo goal is still the most thrilling single moment I've ever experienced in 50 years following the club. Goosebumps.

He's a classic example of decent level of ability against a really low football intelligence and I'm not sure that can be coached. I get he's been in a team that's been low on self confidence, self belief and application but that's the time he should have been working out how to make his overall game more effective rather than rely on scoring Hollywood goals once in a while. Compare him as a footballer to Marc Albrighton. Way more ability, way less end product, way less value to the team.

But that's just it.... there's a decent amount of people who think we should trust in the process and support the lads. I know it sounds insane, but these people believe that, and aren't going anywhere. How do we bridge that gap???

The last few weeks and certainly the last few days over social media has clearly demonstrated the clear divide amongst the fanbase between the 'back the lads/true supporter' section and the 'Completely unacceptable, deserve every thing they get' section. Last night's full time footage was as concerning (to me) as anything on the pitch - a clear mix of anger, upset, rage against a significant bunch of people clapping, looking mildly disappointed and a shrug of shoulders. How do we even begin to bring the fanbase back together in the situation we're in? It's not like Blackburn or Sheff Weds where there's a unanimous view on the Venkys and Chansiri, and there's a concerted and agreed view on how to engage the club and make change. How do we go about doing that, cos at the moment I can't see a way forward.

Rock bottom could be anywhere with the current stewardship of the club - League 2, Non league, liquidation. Any of those scenarios are realistic outcomes with the current framework in place. This all lies with Top now, who I believe is caught up in a situation where I'm certain he feels guilty and responsible for what's happened but is caught in between a 'I need to make this better' and 'I can't change this for the better, I need to let somebody else do it'. I pray to god he's thinking the latter, but strongly fear he's thinking the former. If that's the case, then I feel the answer to your question is we'll go out of business.

Big positive is not being tempted to watch that Benjamin Bloom twat with his insightful views on the Championship, with his twatty long horse face, constant water sipping, and a prime example of the 'hot take' social media generation. Did I mention he's a twat?

The Ginetta's typify everything that is wrong and spectacularly toxic about social media, and applies far wider than this nonsense about an over paid mediocre player. Everything is black and white and at some point you pin your colours to the mast on what you believe in. When whatever you believe in has turned to absolute rat-sh1t you then have a choice to say 'you know what, I got this wrong and you were right', or you dig in deeper Sadly, in this day and age, people's egos and social media profiles prevent them from saying they were wrong, and becoming more militant about their (woefully) misguided views. End result is massive divisions between sections of fans, which never existed pre social media. None of the KPFC crowd will change their views. On days like today, I miss Filbo, I miss David Oldfield running around a lot, I miss AG Kemble, I miss the ball going over the East Stand.

I know Maresca was playing with a much chunkier deck, but makes you realise what a decent manager he is/was - for us to have walked this division in the way we did with 6 or 7 of the current team/squad a key part of that is a massive outlier to everything that's happened over the last 5 years.

I never rated the bloke, but all of the above is not exclusive to him, the same would apply to Cooper and RVN. Over the last 2 seasons I'd genuinely like to see how many of the games we won that we absolutely deserved to win. Fingers of one hand (Of a Cov fan)?
