This. I hate that as a female they approach my friends and I thinking they're Leonardo freaking Dicaprio in that movie. Maybe it's just me, but I don't start relations out with people by making them think I can buy them.

Visited my dad's side of the family in Hong Kong and Shanghai over the previous summer. Still clearing my lungs out. This summer I hope to go visit my mom's side in Israel but I have to get approved for travel and I'm not sure that will happen. Pushed my luck with China despite being half-Chinese. Chaps my hide because my grandparents there are nearing 90 so I need to see them soon.

I don't get that either but maybe it's more of a social thing for the neckbeard-types. I spend enough time in there waiting for the manager of the one beneath my condo to stop talking about her cats to the other employees or waiting behind people who cannot make up their mind about a cup of coffee. Maybe it's better outside of a touristy city but I'll hedge my bets and take the "no, it's not."

Hey now, it's cat poop coffee and Starbucks doesn't even serve Kopi Luwak. With that aside, Starbucks is not my favorite but it's the most prominent and I don't have to waste too much time finding one when I need my afternoon swift-kick-in-the-ass.

People that chitchat in line at Starbucks, then wait until prompted to approach the cashier to start reading the menu and deciding what they want. Add to that the 20 Questions game they love to play while holding the line up.

It's Monday. It's only 8:54am. I'm out of coffee.

Wilco. I normally live right in Ballston but it depends on where my employer wants me. Won't be able to make the match tomorrow but I will definitely post again when I'm in the area. Figured there would be more but then I remember I did not choose to follow any of the major teams. Like the freaking Yankees of the EPL.

Any groups getting together in Arlington, VA/Washington? Or anywhere in the DMV?

Good evening, Just recently started following the EPL (~3 years now) and randomly chose Leicester as my team. Absolutely no connection to the city or the team since I am from the Washington, DC area. I joined the forum with hopes that I can learn a lot more about the sport and the history of the team. I'm in the military so I'll likely post on and off at times, but right now I'm working on a graduate degree in mathematics so I have some time on my hands. Cheers all!
