Just not when it comes to match day ticket prices 👀

Wow. I’m genuinely astonished at the match by match ticket price increases.
The fact that the club in their press release have attempted to justify the pricing by claiming we’re ‘10th and 9th in the league on cheapest / most expensive ticket’ is abhorrent and shows how out of touch they are. Particularly given it fails to take into consideration 7 of the 20 clubs are London based, where you’d expect ticket prices to be more expensive given the London weighting of wages.
As a long term member in the privileged position to be able to afford these ticket prices, even I’m taken aback and find myself wondering if it’s worth it any longer.
Shocking.

David Moyes would be my choice. Yes, it's not a glamourous appointment but he's out of a job so no compensation to pay and is a proven top manager at this level. I honestly think he'd give us the best chance of staying in the league which is all we need to be concentrating on next year.

There was one in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote that was owned by Leicester fans. Not sure if it still is though - I was there for the ‘Deeney game’. It still gives me shudders thinking of that game, even after all we’ve gone on to achieve 🤣

I’m probably in a tiny minority that has accumulated enough points to be eligible for a season ticket but doesn’t want one. I enjoy the flexibility of match by match tickets (usually get to 7 or 8 games a year) due to living away from Leicester.
I’ve experienced a few membership schemes over the years and I have to say the current points system is by far the fairest way to do it. I actually think it’s a good system. As people have highlighted, membership + regular attendance for a few years = very likely to be eligible for a season ticket. Less than that needed if we’re not in the premier league.
It also rewards consistent attendance. Eg it rewards those that renew their membership and continue to attend games over a longer period and avoids people buying a gold membership just when we’re doing well as has happened in the past.
It seems fair to me.-

All I’ll say is that if this was to ever happen it would be the day I walk away from top tier football, and unfortunately, the football club I love.
Which would save me a small fortune in fairness.

It’s £1.50 delivery when you order 1. I’ve ordered 2 and the delivery was £4.95. So basically you’re better off ordering separately if you want 2 copies.

Sevilla and probably by some distance for me. Under the lights, the game had absolutely everything and was followed by the realisation we were in the quarter finals of the champions league. I’ll never forget it.
The Manchester United 5-3 game was great too though. Vardy’s first impact on the premier league too.

As soon as possible for me. I’ll never understand how winning promotion when we’re playing somehow makes it more special. I’d rather go to Preston with premier league status secured and fighting for a bonus trophy. But that’s just me.

Reminds me of the everton game and the historic play off and cup final games where people come out the wood work moaning because even though they rarely attend games they feel vilified that they cannot get a ticket for the big games.
The Everton game was a disgrace in my view because of the sheer volume that ‘disappeared’. Couple that with a membership scheme that was linked to the money you paid for the membership, rather than a loyalty system.
This time round, anyone with at least 15 points was able to purchase a ticket. That seems entirely reasonable to me. I get that new members that might have attended 14 games would feel hard done by, but there has to be a cut off somewhere. Those that have only had a membership since last summer does not seem an unreasonable cut off.
Someone that has had a membership for a minimum of 2 years and has attended a minimum of 5 games in that time has been given the opportunity to purchase a ticket.
Not everyone can attend every week, so I’d much rather a membership scheme that rewards longevity and average support over someone that buys a membership and can attend every game in a season. If someone keeps attending every game for several seasons they’ll soon find themselves in the top loyalty bracket and even eligible for a season ticket.

Absolutely appalling mismanagement from the club and it’s embarrassing.
With regards to Top, the only reason I’m still behind him as owner is because you don’t know who would come next. At least Top will secure the club financially in terms of existence, even if it means we’re league 1 / championship fodder for years.
But my word Top has been asleep at the wheel and needs to get the board out yesterday!! Wake up Top!

Imagine the uproar if we rejected an approach from someone for Rudders
I’d like to think we wouldn’t be so stupid…
Besides, Rudders is probably in charge of his own contract as well. Would explain a lot.

Moved up to Yorkshire for Uni 15 years ago now and never left. Currently live and work in Leeds - I find Leeds fans are generally level headed about their club to be honest. You get the odd plonker in the Leeds fanbase but then, don't we all have that problem! They are just proud and can be very loud. I hate to admit it but Elland Road can create one of the best atmospheres in the country. In many ways I'm jealous, I wish our home fans were as loud!

Best atmosphere of the season and we lost 🤣
Typical 🤣
Please could everyone go back to remaining silent during periods of play for the rest of the season. Thanks 🤣

Certainly not a must win in any shape or form. Our lead has allowed us the breathing space to have a blip if need be.
However, it does make Friday a huge game for both sides, even more so for us after today’s result because if we lose again we’re really back in the mix. But, if we win for me it seals it. Big game.

It’ll be interesting to see how the narrative reverts back to normal next year. This year has been a bit of a freak season with 3 huge clubs, 2 of which were established premier league clubs, being relegated that probably shouldn’t have. Compare that to this season where it is likely at least 2 out of the 3 clubs to be relegated will be some of the worst sides to have been relegated from the premier league.

Good draw for us. Opportunity to see how we compare to the sort of opposition we’ll need to be beating if we get promoted. Take that.

The FA Cup win was huge to me. Massive. The realisation of a long held distant dream.
Today,'s game however means nothing. We are not going to win it as a Championship club and we have bigger fish to fry. I just want us to get back to winning ways in the league.
We’re a better squad than Wigan of 2013. I get it, chances are slim, but dreams are there to be lived. May as well give it a go.

As a City fan I never dreamed of winning the league because it was so unrealistic.
But I did dream of winning the FA cup, it was a unrealistic feeling when we won it, I was much more emotional than we we won the league.
Completely agree.
The league win was unbelievable, but something I’d never even thought about because it was just so unbelievable. But like you I had dreamed about winning the FA Cup so somehow it felt so much more emotional when it finally happened. Even though the league win is a bigger achievement. That’s football I guess.

I've no time for drink drivers at all. Personally I feel the law should be zero tolerance as it is in Scotland, but I appreciate that's just my personal view. As someone that enjoys a beer myself I know that even after a single pint my reactions and judgment are not the same. I wouldn't want to be in charge of a machine that has the potential to kill knowing my reaction times and judgment are not as good as they can be. That's just my personal view.
However, add into that the incredibly privileged position these footballers are in where they could hire a chauffer driven Uber Luxe with less thought than us mere mortals would have to buying a coffee, and it becomes unforgivable. I felt exactly the same about Danny Drinkwater when he was caught. Appreciate he's yet to be found guilty but the fact he refused a roadside test tells me everything.

Liked this ref the last time we had him and he had another good performance yesterday. He’ll be a premier league regular before long.

The fact that there are still 6 teams without a win after 5 games (a premier league record according to Sky) should show how the quality at the bottom really isn’t that great.
