  1. You're on 17 and I'm on 19-we may be pleasantly surprised. There won't be many silver/city foxes that have been to more than 10 games (there will be a few but not vast amounts), so the priority points total may be as low as 15 initially. It all depends on how renewals go etc, because I can imagine a lot of city fox members who were happy to pay £20 will not want to pay £60. The nature of memberships means most people buy them because they can't make most games, and even if they can who can afford to go to every single match @ £40 a ticket!
  2. That's what worries me.....the trauma of the ST ballot has scarred me for life.
  3. I really hope you're right! I'm on 19 and I have a feeling I will be 1 short of getting a ticket via the priority access.
  4. I'm not sure what you're quoting but the maximum number of points any member will have at the start of the 17/18 season will be 34. (15 for gold member + 19 home PL games). Away games/previous memberships other than in 16/17 will not count towards the new membership
  5. I really wouldn't worry mate. I can't imagine there are a tonne of people who have only missed a couple of games. The nature of memberships mean people usually don't get to most games. You will definitely be in the top category.
  6. I assume you mean your own points tally going into next season? Gold members start on 15 points + 1 point for each PL home game they attended in 16/17 Silver members start on 10 points + 1 point for each PL home game they attended in 16/17 City Fox members start on 5 points + 1 point for each PL home game they attended in 16/17 New members start on 0
  7. I was just using those as an example. I have no idea what the cut offs will actually be.
  8. No you can log on and select seats if you are selected in the ballot. But like you say....I have absolutely no interest in paying £70 a ticket in the West Stand
  9. Precisely. As I understand it half of home tickets will go on sale to members in priority order: eg. Wednesday: Those with 25+ points Thursday: Those with 20+ points Friday: Those with 15+ points. The other half will be up for a ballot which all members can enter (unless they have purchased via the priority system). 2% of away tickets will be available for all members who enter the ballot. All tickets bought for home PL games will mean members receive 1 loyalty point after the fixture has taken place. Now I've wrote that out it doesn't look nearly half as bad. Maybe the club have just over complicated the literature. The one major flaw is those who will buy tickets to sell on just to maintain their priority status.
  10. They know that we love our club and will all probably end up renewing. They have a gun to our head and they know we will empty the vault to see our club. Until demand dies down they will continue to exploit it for all its worth. However I've said it before and I'll say it again....LCFC should be nice to those of us who travel hundreds of miles to watch our club on the way up, because they'll need us on the way down again.
  11. Yep, but at least those membership numbers were capped. So although they were only promising 2,000 tickets-there was an absolute cap of 10,000 (6,000 silver and 4,000 gold). They are now not capping memberships and apparently this season we had 15,000 members. All in the one ballot for 1,000 tickets.
  12. I have just been told that the club will only guarantee a minimum of 2,000 tickets will be released to members for every home game.......that would be a hell of a lot of corporate/freebies given away.
  13. It more than certainly is bull. So only home PL games count towards this seasons points.....but do we know going forward whether a point will be allocated for ALL match tickets bought (whether home, away, cup), or will it just be home PL games?
  14. I raised my concerns with Jim yesterday, who got back to me this morning and assured me that points would be monitored closely and anyone found to be buying and then selling tickets simply to increase their loyalty points would be suspended from all other purchases and possibly from holding a membership going forward. Not sure how much I believe this but seems like a hell of a risk by members who do want to buy and sell tickets. One concern is that membership numbers will not be capped. So unless you are in the top tier of members, you could realistically be entering a ballot with 15,000+ members for 2,000 tickets.
  15. Yep you're right. Essentially a typical match day will have about 4,000 tickets released to members. So 2,000 will be taken by the top priority members, with the other 2,000 being sent to a ballot for the 13,000 other members. It's going to be hell.
  16. I'm in exactly the same boat. I said above with me and partner both having gold memberships (and both due to be on 19 points), I'm not sure it's worth £120 just to enter ballots. It's such a shame because like you, it is only because of the Champions League games that I missed so many league games last season. I normally go to far more.
  17. I feel your pain!
  18. Out of interest mate how many points are you on/how many games do you normally make. I only ask as I seem to remember you're in a similar position to me. I'll be on 19 points next season. I'm gutted.
  19. Nope. Available tickets will be equally split. Half will go to a top priority of members the other half will go into an all member ballot.
  20. To be honest I'm absolutely gutted. As I've said previously, I live over 100 miles away so it's a 200+ mile round trip for me, so I try to get to 1 game a month. Because of the CL this year (I went to all 5 home games), I have been financially limited to attending 5 premier league games. This means I will be going from gold member to probably middle priority. Therefore I am essentially being asked to pay £120 for me any my other half to enter a ballot for tickets, with no guarantees at all. Not only that, but the times I have to go on my own (as my partner works a lot of Saturdays), I will be unable to select a seat next to or near my dads ST because by the time the ballot takes place it is likely to be the last seats that are remaining. For the first time in my life I am seriously considering not bothering with a membership just out of principle, but I know the consequences of that will be watching no more of the club I love next season. ?
  21. I suppose the first question is.....what will be classed as first priority?? Over 15 points?....20? more? I feel the price is far too steep. Who in their right mind as a City Fox member last year is going to pay £60 to enter a ballot?
  22. What an absolute rip off.
  23. Good old Birch!
  24. We simply have to address the CB issue this summer, it should have been addressed last summer. I also think we need a quality CM signing to really push the group. We also obviously need to replace those that leave (I fear Kasper will).
