To be honest I think we would be a solid team in the PL
Really don't think we could be worse than last season

Correction, this squad.

Wednesday's game could see us win as many games as the whole of last season.
Not only does that put things into perspective, how dreadfully poor we were last season but also the gulf between the two leagues.
Don't think we'd have got relegated last season with this team and manager.

Probably knew that when the poison dwarf inevitably went, he would get the chance he obviously deserved. Hamza also reborn and playing to his full potential. Just shows how far we regressed in the last two years under that twat

The worrying thing is when there is a bit of urgency needed if he has the ability to get out of laidback mode
Ok in this league. Very risky in the premiership. But take nothing away from him.

Multiple, we have only conceded 4 in the league.
Coventry corner wasn't his fault.
Cardiff wonder strike not his fault.
Rotherham was his fault
Today a deflection.
We haven't conceded a goal in the cups.
So can you explain the multiple goals he's cost us.
Exactly this. Not sure what people are actually watching but Doyle has been our most consistent player so far this season. So we we lose our first game, show some constructive criticism instead of clutching at straws and talking total bollocks

Oh, I just fell in here.
I am not meant to be at the football because not only am I over 50, I'm from the wrong social class and am being sneered at for it.
Well played.
I'm not being ageist mate I'm 65 and I couldn't care less what class you think you are. If it offends you that much I'd suggest you stick to the opera on a Saturday afternoon for your kicks. Can't believe it's even being discussed

Working class people at a working class sport. Who'd have thought it.
I know, they shouldn't be allowed in. Everybody should behave like the prawn sandwich and derby and Joan contingent and make the atmosphere even worse than than it already is.

This video was taken by Cov fans 2 weeks ago. If you think this sort of shit constitutes a good atmosphere, then we are on very different pages. The sight of a ten year old acting the biggun throwing willy puller signs whilst being ignored by their elders strikes me as deeply pathetic.

Fcuking brilliant, a bit of passion from the Leicester sprogs. Let's hope as they grow older they'll leave the grandparents at home. This is what it was like when I was a boy at Filbo. Difference was about 20/30 of us sprogs(and many more) got in for nothing at half time and always guaranteed a better atmosphere 2nd half, even without the drink and drugs that seems to be the norm these days. The atmosphere of a full house at the King power has never even got close to a full house at Filbo in my experience, and I go back a long time.

We can blame everything we like. Acoustics, age, early kick offs, whatever you like.
It just comes down to lack of effort.
It sounded pretty good on TV, which can't always be said

In 58 years of actively supporting the mighty blues (I'm 65 now), the most entertaining period of that time was without doubt the MON era at Filbert St, not only for the regular visits to Wembley and the top 10 epl finishes, but my son was also in the academy for 3 years at that time ( almost fulfilling my boyhood dreams) Although my trials as a teenager at Belvoir Drive when Jimmy Bloomfield was in charge and I got to meet my heros Lenny Glover, Keith Weller and Graham Cross, came pretty close. I was living in Cyprus during the epl title winning season and got to organise a mini LCFC supporters group where we streamed every game home and away, illegally I'm sure, on TV in our pub/supporters club, and believe me we had some wild times that season, but I made sure that I was back in the Citeh to experience the atmosphere and sheer jubilation of our last home game against Everton, something that I'll never forget and would never have missed
Difficult to choose between these great times and great managers which is why I consider myself so lucky to have supported the greatest team in the world from childhood to old age. Tell you something, it's rarely been boring and my allegiance will never change whoever owns, manages or plays for my team.

Is it obligatory to sing when you go to watch a football match? Perhaps stewards could eject you if you don't?
You may laugh, but my son treated me to a meal and a seat with the prawn sandwich brigade for my 60th birthday. First and last time. We dared to stand up when we scored and interrupted the view of Mr and Mrs prawn sandwich behind us who then proceeded to complain to the prawn sandwich stewards who told us that we were now being watched by CCTV and any such behaviour would result in us being ejected. When the game finished I said to Mr prawn sandwich."I'll see you next week at turf moor plastic supporter" knowing full well he wouldn't be anywhere near Burnley. Me and my son were there. We we're also told to leave and would not be allowed in with the select few for after match drinks. Cost my son a lot of money for that afternoon and we certainly didn't enjoy it. Says a lot about our football club.

If you look at the stats you’ll see that we have started very strongly this term.
Today, we had 7 shots in total, with 6 on target and had approx 40% of possession. This is good for an away game.
Yes, they missed an absolute sitter but as soon as we scored, they didn’t look like replying.
As much as we look good going forward, I’m as pleased that we seem to have tidied up the defence. Faes was excellent today and I really like the look of young Doyle.
In the Championship, todays game was a potential banana skin. We came through it with all three points and didn’t really struggle too much imo.
On a day where Southampton lost at home, Birmingham beat Leeds and Middlesbrough got thrashed by the Cov scum, coming going to Huddersfield and collecting all three points indicates a pretty solid side who aren’t easy to beat.
And again, this is far more enjoyable than it was last season in the top flight.
Absolutely agree, but don't forget that Praet also missed a sitter and had more time to control and place the ball. As you say though it's already far more enjoyable than last season

Pretty certain the last time I heard that same goal music was away at Cov. I'm sure they used it for years.

Feels like a bloated squad at the moment or am I wrong to think that?

Zach Awe (ex Arsenal) and Axel Tuanzebe (ex Man Utd) are both available for free. Both would be excellent replacements for Vestergaard. Tuanzebe has experience of Championship promotion while on loan at Villa and Awe is an England youth international. If we are able to get a few million for Vesty this could make excellent financial sense. And both are young enough that if either do well for us, we could sell on for a healthy profit.
Both of them are good shouts and probably not a risk financially

Not too many backwards or sideways passes in this compilation 🤔

And they used to sing "You're just a small town in England" to us.
That might be true but I always thought that it was hilarious coming from that sophisticated cultural metropolis that is Coventry. Basically just a suburb of Birmingham.
It's actually a suburb of Nuneaton/Bedworth 😄
