In 2016 we kind of expected a great season after the 2015 bat-flip season, but for 2025, expectations were pretty low - I mean we finished in last place in the AL east last year! So the turnaround has been hugely enjoyable and unexpected - makes it all the more sweeter. Throw in a bunch of likeable underdog players such as Ernie Clement, Nathan Lukes, Miles Straw, a sensational rookie in Trey Yesavage, and a resurgent veteran in George Springer who put up career-high numbers at the age of 36, all added to star-players Vladdy and Bo Bichette, it's been a season for the ages for Blue Jays fans regardless of what happens against the heavily-favoured Dodgers. I feel like we had better individual players in 15/16, with Bautista, Donaldson, Encarnacion etc, but this year we have a better team. To get to a first World Series in 32 years says it all really.

The whole of Canada and 99.9% of America will be wishing for this!
