Still only one team batting in reply across the matches. The Kookaburra idea has been a disaster.

Tempting fate here but 3 of our last 6 games are against the 2 bottom teams who already look out of it and two of the three are at home.

Derbyshire in trouble here, it's turning

Assuming Northans and Derbyshire win this leaves us: 25 clear of second. 45 clear of third. At least 65 clear of the remainder. With 6 games left. That's nearly 11 points per game left on each of those below Glamorgan.

Gloucs losing would be a nice touch.

Glamorgan aren't going anywhere run wise. Very tight so far. If no-one wins today we retain a sizeable gap to 3rd and 4th and it's another game done and only 6 to go. Also with maximum points.

3 down is a bonus at tea

They're heads have dropped. Time to put the boot in until tea if we can.

On the basis we are over a hundred ahead with 3 wickets in hand and 5 sessions to go we should have more confidence in the boys to bat another hour and take them on. Van Beek, Green and the final two can all bat.

Lewis Hill quietly accumulating runs and currently averaging 52. Van Beak joins Holland on 28 wickets. Ben Green 25 at less than 18. It's such a group effort and today was as dominant as it gets against a form team. It could still go pear shaped but the belief in the squad and confidence to go out and put such a performance in is something else.

The Kookaburra not doing much will be interesting. We bat deep but I can see draws becoming more prevalent but that suits us when considering where we sit.

The Sky team is good and they support the "lesser" counties well. In regard to Van Beak, he'll be a miss, comes across as a nice bloke as well, but a rest won't do him much harm. He's played a lot.

Credit where it's due. To have them cashed out before 20 overs at sub 8 an over after that start is some going. Van Beak finding his straps at just the right time.

Worcs beat Durham. Big game tomorrow, it's pretty nip and tuck bar Northants and the bottom two.

Looked like another decent crowd down there?

P.s. our stream is not as bad as some. Northants and Sussex are both pretty amateur.

Notts and Worcs losing tonight is a nice touch.

Ben Green just helped Somerset chase 230 against Middlesex who have always and remain not the greatest at T20.

We've won 3/4 in the T20 with some of our main players unavailable and Shan M is yet to come off. This is an amazing start to the season. All players are pitching in. There isn't much to fault. Peripheral players are stepping up. They are throwing the ball to young players. People need to chill out.

They should put it online like everyone says. One thing they haven't improved on. I'd get my lad the T20 top. We live nowhere near.

Kimber getting us ahead of the run rate was crucial. The others batted marvelously. Seriously impressed with what Trevaskis brings to the team. And Cox is exceptional. Also a decent catch and great stumping. To go with Rehan's bowling, and batting, it's a top performance. Have a read of the Observer article posted on here recently. The Lancs CEO mocking counties like us. They deserve all they get.
