  1. Told you he wasn't a DM
  2. Not sure what he is, maybe box-to-box, but to call him a DM just cannot be consider true anymore, as he plays too far forward
  3. By now, its surely clear that Cooper his plan is to keep it tight for 45-60 minutes (Not debating the value of this idea here) and then unleash further attacking players
  4. Are people still calling Wilf a DM these days? Is this still a thing?
  5. Well to be honest it should be obvious, but the mentioned his form as the only game we have seen him play, he was poor, but admittedly it’s not a large sample size.
  6. I realise, I was just being a sarky twat.
  7. Because people are acting like they know more than the manager and his staff who see these players every day purely based on historic form, it’s silly
  8. 3 CDM blindness is the new monkey pox but twice as virulent.
  9. Whole defence is off for attacked second half, don’t worry.
  10. It. Is. Not. Then.
  11. He played and he was awful - next.
  12. Because he is shit out of form
  13. That is clearly not possible when you start with 3 defensive minded midfielders.
  14. The perpetual disappointment and shock every match thread is the only surprise here.
  15. Certainly my parents do not and most of their friends won’t either, think this is some sort of born-before-random-date restriction from what I understand?
  16. Has staggeringly good visuals - not convinced it’s my cup of tea but watching the boy play it, it is very good.

  17. Everything you state is true and I suspect it is largely the reminiscent gameplay that I am enjoying, because as a group we would spend much time playing as a social thing, now we are old and crusty with ‘grown up’ stuff to do, this has fallen by the way side, so suspect that fuels current enjoyment, well that along with a familiar brain off relaxation anyway.
  18. World of Warcraft Of late, and against my better judgement, I have returned to playing a bit of World of Warcraft. Left a good while ago as was it had become quite stale, returned previously to try Classic, but felt it too far back in the lifetime. Can report it is back to some semblance of the game it once was. (Apparently they rehired some of the older staff from the more successful times.
  19. Feels very disingenuous to be honest, as he is punishing a section of the population who cannot strike, cannot withhold their labour, and all that for a recouped value which makes little effort to plug this fiscal gap.
  20. I remain hopeful but dubious about some recent decisions, and yes, they are more blue than I would like for sure.
  21. See no sense in the decision to scrap the winter fuel payment, the £1.9b saved is both small in the grand scheme things and will largely be offset by those encouraged to get pension credit, so what is the point? Can easily imagine the Tories would have done it mind, but that will have to cease to be the go to reason at some point.
  22. He was and if Enzo were still here and playing the same/similar system, it seems unthinkable that Ricky would not be playing. As you say, Cooper will bear the cost of this choice should he not deliver survival. One final note, I do think JJ is seen as a little more robust than Ricky, so perhaps this factors into the selection.
  23. The manager and staff seem him far more often, if things aren’t sticking, perhaps he needs to improve before selection No idea, but nobody should be picked solely on historic performances, despite how great they once were.
  24. Impressive, but is it what we want to see at this level? Or just a sign of the times?
