Genuinely think Martin will get us of league 1. Problem is we’re heading straight to league 2 with him. If Challinor gets the Salford job then this time next year they’ll be in a league above us.

You’ve only got to look at other clubs who sack or the manager leaves this summer. Most have taken under a week to hire a replacement.

I could have some sympathy for him had he gone Rangers and tried a completely different approach. But he didn’t. I just don’t see him changing his way of playing. I pray he ends up at Burnley or somewhere other than here.

I get what you’re saying but at Mk dons in league one he finished 19th and 13th. At Swansea in the championship he finished 15th and 10th. Am I missing something? Apart from getting Southampton up he’s done fvck all. He had the opportunity at Rangers to change his style of play but didn’t. Teams vastly improve once he’s left. I’m hopeful next season. All this talk of Hannah Waddingham, Lucy Pinder, Michelle Marsh and Sophie Howard gives me hope. Not about football but it certainly cheers me up thinking of them.

The only positive I can see with hiring Martin is the slim possibility of having Pinder, Marsh and Howard in Leicester on a regular basis. Yes I am dreaming back to the glory days of Nuts and Zoo.

There isn’t a fan base where Martin has previously managed that have anything positive to say about him. It’s the usual stuff that he’s an arrogant ego centric twat who won’t change his set up no matter how bad it is and will throw players under the bus rather than blame himself. If he’s hired we are destined for league 2. I’m amazed that we haven’t at least tried for Challinor.

I would rather we hire someone with no previous managerial experience like Paddy McCarthy or someone with little experience but is a fans favourite like Fuchs than that arrogant ***** Martin.
