I’m certainly not disagreeing with it being harrowing, I’m just intrigued by the other cases that get brushed under the carpet because the tree didn’t make a sound. I also find it intriguing, and I am sure this won’t go down well, that the person involved was able to forgive, aswell as family members, but the perfect general public want him hung. For instance, Danny Simpson is a very popular player on this forum for obvious reasons - but why is everyone so happy to forget his (guilty) domestic abuse issue?

Not wanting to start anything as I am just genuinely curious, but plenty of other footballers have had similar charges yet still gone on to play unaffected. Is the outcry with this one literally because there was audio of the incident? It was the same with Ray Rice in the NFL, countless incidents but that was the one who got the most backlash because there was video footage of it.

Unpopular opinion but I actually think Spurs will be better without focusing and relying on Kane.

In this day and age with IPTV’s and whatever else, I don’t think the blackout is as relevant as it used to me. Every match is broadcast worldwide anyway…

The only reason this show still exists is because English people are weird and obsessed with ‘tradition’ over anything else. Some weeks there’s only about 4 games on a Saturday, and even if you don’t watch them all live, the goals and anything else notable is on social media within 5 minutes anyway.

Finally bought this over the weekend and I’m absolutely hooked. Terrific game, full of strategy.

I hate people celebrating at the best of times, but surely it’s a bit weird to celebrate when I literally score an own goal from kick off just to get the game done with and give you a free win isn’t it?

At this point, I’m hoping I go 2 goals down in a game rather than 2 up. It’s getting silly how often I throw 2+ leads away.
