I met him in the car park outside the Bournemouth ground at the Fa cup tie the other week. He seemed really nice mainly due to the fact my son shouted that’s John Rudkin and asked for a photo he couldn’t believe his luck so he was overly nice. He can be nicest bloke in the world but he has no excuses for this mess and needs to go along with a few others!

Was a very nasty leg injury to the palace player quite uncomfortable to watch for anyone there. Looked like his leg gave way badly after jumping for a header. A lot of medical attention for a good 15-20 minutes. Hope he is ok

Alves back in full first team training tomorrow and available for team selection for Birmingham In the cup

Don’t shoot the messenger but there’s high hopes for Alves under Enzo. New long term contract talks ongoing, recovery going well, no expectations or pressure as to when he will be match fit but club and Enzo looking to include him in the first team match squad for the second half of the season. All parties are happy and will sees his future at the club and hopefully of a full breakthrough this season

Alves is definitely on the bus as are a few others from the under 23’s having been withdrawn from the Porto game this evening. Let’s hope some of them are given a few minutes to show what they can do

Think we could be in for a bit of a battering this evening. Alves isn’t playing he’s off MK Dons tomorrow night and let’s hope not just to warm the bench! Hearing Braybrooke, Brunt and possibly Wormleighton also travelling tomorrow. So the main spine of the team could be out tonight against a half decent Porto youth side

Getting outclassed unfortunately 1-0 down at the moment but probably should’ve been more. Injury to popov upfront hasn’t helped as it’s the sort of game that needs a big man up front to hold the ball up when we do actually get a hold of it

We’ve had out Rodger’s banner taken off us by security and I’ve seen several others have theirs removed too. What an embarrassment this is for the club that they try and mute their own fan’s views!
