  1. The opposition cant score from there though!
  2. Spot on with all that you say. You mention the media love-in with certain players. They have gushed over Nacho since his ( fortunate ) end of season goal spree, they obviously havent seen his lack of touch or control recently! They talk of Maddison as though he is a Midfield Maestro, when IMO he is a pretty-boy who shines for 10 mins per match, if you're lucky! In the past week I have heard commentators say that ' We all know that Vardy needs just one opportunity ( to score ) ...' . In fact over the past few weeks Vardy hasnt been able to hit a barn door with a banjo! Football, its a funny old game.... :-(
  3. When was the last time that Schmeichel launched a quick-fire counter attack?? He now passes it a a full back who passes it back to him, who then passed to another full back who passes it to the centre half who passes it back to Schmeichel. And in the process give Foden/Salah/Pulisic/Sterling/ etc the chance to nip in and score. We had a great chance this year of finishing runners-up in my opinion and BR buggered it up with poor on-field management.
  4. On Sunday the match commentator actually said on the hour mark that '' the midfield is opening up now as Spurs go on the attack, giving Maddison more room to make those FORWARD passing moves ''. The commentator obviously could see more opportunities to ATTACK Spurs. What did BR do? Took off Maddison and 'defended' once again. We have 'defended' nearly all season with one or two exceptions ( Man Utd in FA cup ) and playing out from the back gives me palpitations! How many times has Schmeichel kicked or threw a quickly-released long ball for Vardy or AN Other to chase this, or last season? We had a superb chance and 'king blew it again because of poor game management IMHO.
  5. I agree, he was 'brushed' a few times, fell down and was awarded free kicks.... BUT, Hey!! Every other team does it... that sort of behaviour is part of football now, ... pity really.
  6. We WERE poor today! Goodness how many times we gave away possession. How many passes were awful, even Tielemans pass gave the ball away to give L'pool their 1st goal. Madisons free kick was poor , but slipped in, then we had a keeper mistake.... we did play badly, notwithstanding that, the back 4 were immense, they had to be! Why do we act like world beaters and try to pass the ball out from the back?? Is it Heart-attack season?!
  7. Refs would have taken note of his over-the-top reactions to the slightest touch...thankfuly! ;-)
  8. He dived last week against man City and 'won' a penalty after his arm was touched in that match.
  9. Ok... How did that happen today??? Is it just me or does anyone else feel as though we always have at least 2 players every match who performs poorly, so we are getting results with just 9 men? Some games it is more than 2. The back four were immense ( again ) today, but why do they continue to give fans a heart attack EVERY time we try to play out of defence? Is it only me who thinks that Madison and Tielemans give the ball away far too often ( L'pool 1st goal - Tielemans ) ? neither puts in a decent corner either..... and yet we keep getting the results! How can we beat Liverpool after being 1-0 down and I still feel as though we have so much more to offer. We rae on a good run of RESULTS, but not on a good run of FORM, in my opinion. Hey, 2nd in the league.... Amaze-balls! :-)
  10. How many GOOD games has he actually had this season???
  11. Have we missed Maddison ?? Asking for a friend....
  12. Did Vardy come off with an injury that he picked up at the time of his goal?
