  1. I cant get to this as I have tickets for a 'do' in Brum. The show is called ' Only Fools and Horses'........ The title could be used for both events, couldn't it? !
  2. I think that both Ipswich and Wolves are better teams and look like fighting and working harder to stay up than us ( we have had our moments though ) but that means nothing where the league is concerned....its points on the board that matter and as others have said we are 2 pts from safety at this moment. At home to Brentford this week, means we really do need something from this game to give the players hope as well as fans.
  3. I think the average 'points required' for Champion League qualification in the past is 70. ATM Forest have 47. That means they need 23 more form 14 games ( possible 42 ). It is not a big ask really when you look at the fixtures. In fact their home game against us could achieve that 23rd point. :-(
  4. The times we actually attacked and 'turned' their defence and made them actually defend we looked dangerous. eg, Daka's 'stud-kick ' . We may have got whacked 6,7 or 8...but if we're going forward, we'd all feel better.
  5. I absolutely agree with you. With 10 mins to go we continued to pass it across the back 4 before passing it to a red shirt to defend once again. There was *NO* intension of going for a result at all.
  6. What was THAT free kick all about, just outside the Man U area in 2nd half???!!
  7. ...did they actually say the word 'Leicester' during their analysis?? I dont think a Leicester player got mentioned!
  8. I have a feeling that if clubs give players ( possibly managers too ) loooong contracts then it helps with their Fair Play Finances as the costs aren't linked to one specific year....but I may be wrong.
  9. ...And let's not forget that in some of the preceding rounds, VAR wasn't used at some grounds and it was at others! So you'd be offside at Craven Cottage but onside at Barnsley! Surely, the teams want a level playing field? You either Have VAR....or Scrap VAR ( in cup games ) IMO.
  10. Your comment reminded me of 'Mike Bassett, England Manager' when Mike Bassett had no idea how to turn round poor performances and asked a fan..... and to be fair, WE have known where the problem lay, but our 'Mike Bassett' seemed to struggle!
  11. Both Stephy and Fattawu have the ability to run down the wing and cross the ball....but they dont! They run down the wing and then STOP-dead ( gives the defence a chance to organise etc ) and cross with their 'wrong' foot. Opposition teams know how to play against such tactics, over and over and over and over again.
  12. I agree, BUT, from what I have seen this season, Enzo is not at his best when he makes substitutions!
  13. Top 4 'certainties' in the Premiere League to finish 5th TWICE! We have form ...
  14. If you had said that 1 month ago you'd have called a Conspiracy Theorist......and just like ALL Conspiracy Theorists, they are proved to be right a few months later!
  15. They should have worked out that Madidivi and Fatawi can only cross the ball with right and left foot respectively...FFS! It is sooooo predictable that Fatawi is forever looking for another Bournemouth Wondergoal....we're gonna struggle if Enzo can't see the bleedin' obvious!
  16. Yes throughout extra time we did NOT try and pass the ball out from the back!! I reckon Enzo had had a word, thank goodness!
  17. ''Hamza Choudry! He's one of our own'' That was wonderful to hear from the Leicester crowd this evening..... as well as the ''Billing you're pathetic'' shout out!
  18. 'his finishing is poor'....' should be looking to keep (him)' ???.Blimey, he played all 2nd half as a No. 9 and he cant finish and doesnt LOOK as if he can finish, either. He is baggage, a bit like McAteer. We are a man-down as soon as we kick off, IMO. And why do we continue to pass the ball from the back and give ourselves problems????
  19. Yunus did well?????? Pleaaaase! He was awful! He had ONE maisy-run up the wing but he lost possession so easily and missed a couple of chances by a mile.
  20. You know that Albrighton WILL cross the ball...and that's when Cannon should come to the fore.... McAteer is not a winger in the same mould as Albrighton at all!
  21. Fully agree.....and we've had to watch it so many times this season, too. Awful feeling!
  22. Once again McAteer brought nothing extra to the team when he came on.....and how many touches did Cannon get?
  23. 15 mins....did that coincide ( again! ) with the substitutions being made???!!!
  24. I think that the manager is a very poor tactician. Some of his substitutions this year have been 'questionable' and even today, 3/4 of the way through the season we have Cannon on the wing (where??!) and Albrighton comes on after 88 mins....88mins! I dont have a lot of faith in Pep Mark II if I'm honest.
  25. Mcteer may be called a 'winger' but did you see him take ONE defender on tonight and cross the ball?? Surely that's a wingers job? No! He received the ball and EVERY time ( he hardly played a forward pass all night ) he passed it backwards.....pathetic!
