  1. Still enjoying this! http://1001albumsgenerator.com/ 1/3 (330 albums) done today. Got an absolute classic for the day. Really love that early Rock & Roll. Short, simple songs packed with energy. Biggest surprise as of lately must be this one. A gem. Female punk with attitude. Whats not to love.
  2. Would anyone be interested in us doing a prediction competition, where we actually keep track of who's winning? I can set up one for us if people are up for it. Doing it at my office as well. You bet 1x2 on the group games and then predict teams to each playoff. Finally, you get to pick a dark horse for extra points if they make it far. Its on a website, it will keep track of the score for us (its free).
  3. Got Nick Drake for today. What a brilliant musician he was. Sadly left us way too early. He only released three studio albums. All of which are superb. Also, i love the addition of public reviews. I recently had Scum - Napalm Death. Not my thing at all (same goes for lots of people as its rock bottom at the lowscore list), but reading this review made it worth it: https://1001albumsgenerator.com/albums/51wqCUWehVrNj2Ltc83zJu
  4. Got this today. Love it. One of the greatest of the post-punk era and Siouxsie Sioux is just super cool. A few other hightlights i've had lately. Usually not a country fan, but this one was pretty cool. One of the all time greatest.
  5. I'm a fan of Beatles but rarely put a record on these days. This one is up there among their best. Good mix of their early straight up pop songs and the more psycadelic stuff that was to come on Revolver and Sgt Peppers.
  6. Still at it! Had a few great stuff lately. God, i love PJ. So many great albums. Superunknown. One of my favourite grunge albums. This was cool as hell. Funky with great production and mixing. Great energy. Nice with a bit of Blues. I learnt that this is the first Blues live album. It was great.
  7. Starting the week with some Brian Eno. Nice! He's been involved in so much good stuff, but i dont think i ever listened to this one.
  8. This is so good. Released the same day as Beatles released White Album, and because of that (lets pretend that's the reason at least) it became a flop and didnt sell much. Ray Davies has called it "the most successful ever flop". Anyway, one of my favourite concept albums and looking forward to listen to it again. Its been a while.
  9. Im going a bit of catch up after christmas holidays. Among other stuff i got these two classic indie albums. h Frankie is doing fine without Pixies as well. Love it.
  10. Not a big fan of hip hop after the 90s but this is one of my favourite hip hop album from the last 20 years. J Dilla is part of it, and everything J Dilla touched became golden. Thats a hardcore one!
  11. P, C & L is one of my favourite albums ever. Low Life not far behind! For today i got this one. Great, obviously! Had this earlier this week. Interesting rock & roll from the late 50's with Buddy Holly. Not really a fan of that genre in general, but its fun to hear what a huge impact this early stuff have had on the music i listen to more regularly.
  12. Oh. Something to wake me up. Got a lot of love for New Orders run of albums at the beginning or their career, up to, and including, this one.
  13. Oh yeees. Love this album. I was pretty late to the whole Super Furry Animals party. Discovered them 2005 or so, but have seen them live 4 times since. Always great energy. They had a great run of albums at the beginning of their career with this one, Radiator and Guerilla. All on Creation Records. Actually, this might be my favourite of theirs.
  14. Yea there's quite a lot of familiar stuff. I give everything a go though, unless i recently played it in full. Today i gott myself some Scott Walker. Havent listend in ages but its great, innit?
