Absolute rubbish, where do you get this from? We had a horrid ending to last season we the turned it around this season. Then we had two bad results against Villa and West Ham - we then turned it around.
We have now had two bad results against Fulham and Liverpool  - we wait and see what happens next.

At Swansea in the Championship he went on a run of something like 1 win in 7 around March / April time and turned it around to get in and win the playoffs.

In the PL they had something like 15 points at the end of December, but guess what he turned their form around and they finished 11th.

He didn’t win any of his first 5 games at Liverpool - he turned this around and they finished 3rd.

Can we please stop this hounding of managers with bull shite facts that are made up to suit a clear agenda some appear to have.

Sorry Brendan we promise not to say anything bad next time we watch a really bad Game. Honest! 😉

Thats the reason most fans  like the Stories in football,cricket.....The shoulds, are the false dawns, and often every season get Kicker up the arse,

Yes its frustrating when it happens to your One team, & Funny when it happens to the others.

We have more often been on the that side of the " shouldnt"....

In either case, Why bother to go into inDepth analyse......

I get as much frusrated and down as any other supporter...

Even After 10 games, any Knowledgable Football fan will recognise, that being in the Bottom 6 doesn't mean you lay down und die & "should" lose

So anybody Really Jumping the Gun expecting to Run Away with the points comes by default entitled...

Something this forum use to be humble was once proud...Not to be..!!

We are the obliging club..so like Fulham a Stronger Sheff.utd would like to Cash in to their  Shouldnt Chips ,

we have to Show them theres no more credit.. But our players have to earn it !!ich

They have to prove, like the big 6

they have that higher Quality mentality & technically for longer consistent form or Grind or  results when necessary.

Thats only my opinion, but all is fair in love, war & football...Thats Why we Love it...But hate the results...innit...

Mate we will agree to disagree, I am enthusiastic about our future not entitled!

Looking at the posts on this thread they were very negative Thursday evening. Fair enough we were very poor in the Ukraine as we were against Fulham.
Two days later and we still appear to be doomed to fail again according to this thread.

I don’t think Brendan will let this happen again, he knows we are better than that and so do the players.
I am expecting a much better performance and a win tomorrow.

My lad is at Sheffield Hallam Uni and lives just round the corner from Bramall Lane. I’ve told him to be a full kit w##ker and hang about the ground making a lot of noise for the whole game.

I hope you are correct!  However I wont put my savings on it though just in case 🤣

No Team in football are ever  in a poistion, that they can say they should win....

Thats an arrogance that we ourselves have shown ideas of grandeur, or entitled swagger sticks, can be brought down a peg or two.

Some Posters on here should get off their Too high Cloud pedastals

Honestly there is nothing entitled about that comment, it's an honest assessment, of a team supposedley performing well, against a team not performing as well, unless you think we shouldnt have beaten or at least drawn against Fulham, and with your quick, I'm entitled response, you probably be happy to loose against Sheff United, that way you can come on here and tell us all we are entitled, just because we dont want to be the first to loose against a team who haven't won a game so far, and we want the team we love to win! I apologise if that is an entitled opinion in your eyes.

    Schmeichel

    Justin - Fofana - Evans - Thomas

    Ndidi (if possible)

    Tielemans - Maddison

    Under - Vardy - Barnes

A bit risky? Probably, but I'd much sooner that than any kind of Fulham-esque garbage. We need to inject a bit of positivity and creativity into our side.

That's far too positive, and potentially productive !

Mate on a serious note your points are valid, I think we all know Brendan is quality and is a great fit for LCFC. But it doesn't mean to say he, should get away without criticism for some horrible performances of late and some of his excuses on post match interviews are predictable waffle.

Yep.. you get the odd freak result.

    Villa v Liverpool

Norwich against Manchester City last season.

But we get freak results all the bloody time.

Man City, Arsenal, Leeds (A)...9 points.

West Ham, Villa, Fulham (H)..0 points.

    🤬🤬🤬🤬

Hopefully we wont see Sheffield United on your list of Freak results, I have to say I'm not confident we will win, I hope so!! I cant take any more grief at work, loosing to Sheffield United who haven't won a game yet will be horrendous!! Might have to pull a sicky!

    Which manager do some want?
I swear some on here will not be happy until we have a Dyche styled manager who sends the team out to play like the Millwall/Wimbledon of old then inevitably lose but reaction is well at least they went down fighting.

What is it in Rodgers that some FT members see that every player past and present who have worked with him didn’t/don’t, that almost every journo and commentary team and for sure his peers have him in the top 10 of World managers but those FT members are not buying it.

I watched an old Gary Neville soccer box last night with Steven Gerrard as guest and the obvious question which manager did you prefer to play under, baring in mind the managers he’s had, & yep our Rodgers, why, because of his man management and the style of play he brought to Liverpool.
He says and since said he wished he had played under Rodgers in his prime and that he used to skip into training due to the sessions he put on and knowing he will learn something new and get better for it even at the latter end of his career, Rodgers started the shape Liverpool are in today.

He would never blame an individual after mistakes, the slip, and we see that with our team how many times have we heard him say recently Fofana will make mistakes & has which have lead to goals but he won’t wring him out to dry like others would.

I for 1 think he is right for Leicester City, We do have a young team despite some high appearances numbers the average age of our starting 11 would put the team under its prime and even more so if just Evans, Kasper and Vardy were taken out.

This week we move into our state of the art training facility and can’t for the life of me think of a better manager I’d want with this team in that facility.

Some of our play has been incredible and yes some not so easy on the eye yet we are still up there & we still have 4 starting 11 players to return, that’s over a 3rd of the starting team and yet people moan about the odd result, you take a 3rd of the starting 11 from any team they will have blips.

You can go on all day about slow build up yet every post match interview he will state we didn’t play with enough aggression in the 1st half we spoke about that and....see it’s not his tactic it’s the players doing it yet he is pinged for it, the passing side to side there is a reason for that already covered by another poster.

Another thing recently mentioned was shot rate being 2nd lowest so seeing that arms are up but look at bigger picture the goals to shot is amongst the highest with our GD being what 3rd highest in the league & that’s only been dragged down in the past 3 games, what’s that saying about not having the biggest but about how you use it?

In this day and age of immediate gratification we lose sight of the build, we have some way to progress to the likes of Liverpool and Man City who are virtually the finished article but again with Rodgers (& new facility) the progression rate is moving us in the right direction and probably quicker than it should in all honesty,  despite a few blips.

Great write up Brendan, bit long winded though.

These days we never seem to start any match with real intent or confidence.  As others have said, we should be putting poor teams to the sword from the start, and get a goal as early as possible.

Getting an early goal today enabled Man C to play in a relaxed way, with a bit of a swagger, and Fulham never looked likely to come back from it.

That's the difference, Man City were always going to win against Fulham, you just dont know what your going to get with Leicester, consistency is a Real problem!

  11. He is a star in the making works well with Vardy and has foresite! His speed and skill on the ball MUST be exploited! His first goal will be one of many I'm sure.  I Also predict he will be up there with assists, needs more game time to settle in he is in my opinion a better option 👍

I wouldn't mind so much if it was just a couple of people or even 50/50. But the first couple of pages are pretty much exclusively full of people saying how poor we are, how we will be comfortably beaten etc. They are the same people who two weeks ago were talking us up for the title etc. The fickleness of this forum just annoys me, especially when we lose a couple of games.

Well dont read the posts then, some of what people post is annoying granted, but everyone is entitled to an opinion, I for one am all for putting my thoughts on here after a good or bad game it's a way off seeing if others have noticed what you thought, and keeping perspective, i said it all along if we play well and draw or loose I'd be happy so long as we play well Fulham and last night we didnt and we need to analyse why, a lack of motivation seems to be an occurring thought, unless you thought we played excellent with loads of motivation against Fulham and last nights game?

I completely missed this match. I'm still in recuperation after the Fulham game.

Mate it was a bit better than the Fulham game only because Under Justin had a decent game other than that it was poor; I know what you mean the Fulham shambles has really knocked my confidence going into the game against the Blades I literally will have an excessive heart rate and cowering behind Molly my dog hope I'm wrong!

  14. 1 minute ago, Babylon said:

The whole conversation started because someone said "the real question is , if we get beat by Sheffield United, does it genuinely put his position under threat?"

No I dont think it does, nor should it, but to loose to the bottom of the table team, not won a game yet, after beating the top ish end of the table teams will surely be noticed by the wage payers, and rightly so, his wage is excellent! get soaking that pressure up, and get some motivation in the team that's all I want win, draw, or loose so long as we dont keep seeing poor performances

  15. 21 minutes ago, Babylon said:

It's like saying ignore all the wins and he's not done very well. You can't just ignore the form start of last season just like you can't ignore the fact until 3 or 4 games ago everyone was very happy and we'd start the season well.

On the reverse you also don't ignore what happened last season. If form goes off a cliff again and we go 8 weeks in diabolical form, then the pressure will be on him. It shouldn't even be a discussion point at the minute outside of "he needs to sort it out or he'll be under pressure" IMO.

He gets a very good wage to soak up pressure, I have no sympathy on that front, no one is saying get rid the pressure from fans is get a grip quick!

Jeez. 4th in the Prem. Through to the last 32 in Europe and numerous people querying whether Brendan should be sacked, suggesting players don’t care, bored, won’t watch on Sunday.

The level of over entitled drivel on here is getting seriously bad. We’re enjoying the best period of LCFC in our lives. We’re not going to challenge for the title. Hopefully we will be in the shake up for Europe next summer.

Sure it’s been a bad couple of weeks but jeez some perspective please

I not heard anyone saying Brendan should go! Far from it however I have heard alot of people saying Brendan sort it out, nothing negative about that it's a good observation unless you thought liverpool, Fulham and tonight were great games noteworthy of our full praise.

Completely changed my stance on Iheanacho, looked half arsed most of the game and takes away any fluidity in our attacks.

We were completely blunt tonight, I'd rather have Perez start up there.

Feel for Under tonight, the only player who seemed to have a positive mindset.

Agreed I'd rather have Captain Tom start!

  18. The best thing about tonight was Ricky P being interviewed what a great guy! Thought Cengiz Under was good he needs to start more games that boys got something, i not seen for a while, what's it called, Ah thats right, passion, motivation and a desire to win! Come on leicester 🤨

Not sure Rodgers can do much about Barnes miscontrolling every ball that came towards him. Iheanacho wasn't much better.

I agree with above, my concern is, did they actually train for this game or are we just turning up and having ago? First Fulham now these 😮
