Thanks for the debate. I would like the unvaccinated to answer that if the vaccines had not been found or if everyone took their view where would we be now? I would suggest the situation would be far worse. Are they hiding behind the vaccinated or do they truly believe that the virus is overhyped

Probably that being obese or a smoker etc is not something to be passed on like covid or even the flu or a cold. I was always annoyed that going into work full of cold was thought ok. No doubt the issues of poor public health will be highlighted more in the future.

There are many regular tv programmes and advice telling people to do eat healthy and exercise etc stop smoking and the rest. Fact is some people won't be told whatever facts are out there. Most of us are guilty to a degree. For example drinking too much is seen as something us British are proud of. We are catching up the US in obesity.

Learning from history is a good reference point though. Don't fall into the trap that all were well off. Lots of poor as well . Just crazy how many think that not going to the pub or shops is hardship. Sympathy for the businesses of course. Glad we agree the protesters are idiots.

What makes me laugh about this so called loss of freedom protesters. They don't know how lucky they are not to have been the war time generations. Conscription, bombing and food rationing that went on for years. All this and a lot more besides. They should be ashamed.

Hello all. New to this forum but just had to join. Leicester has been my team since cup final day 1963. Aged 6. No family connection to Leicester but despite or perhaps because of the 3-1 loss this was to be MY team for ever. Always in the back of my mind we never won anything major (apologies to League Cup team of 64) until 1997 League cup. Always wanted F A Cup though. Premier League champs was fantastic but still wanted to lay the ghosts of 49, 61 and 63 and 69. We have now done it and I'm nearly 65. All the agony of all the disappointments were worth it.
