I don’t think Ndidi has been back long enough to burn out. I don’t think he’s going to be back to usual standards in time to be relied upon as a starter.

When I saw JJ warming up I was hoping it was to take Faes off because of the yellow card. How he starts week in week out baffles me. I didn’t think Doyle was playing particularly badly.

Ndidi was woeful. Let the ball go at least 3 times in moments that could’ve resulted in goals. Fatawu too erratic. Yunus and Praet were what we needed. They linked up and set up Mavididi. Yunus has demonstrated that he’s more than just a bench warmer, and should have more opportunities to start on the wing.

I kinda feel sorry for Top in a way. LCFC is part of his Dad’s legacy. He achieved the unachievable. Got us in a position to win things we never thought possible. But now we’re back to square one and financially ****ed. Top had big shoes to fill and he isn’t the man for the job. So I understand his reluctance to sell because it must feel like turning his back on something Vichai built, but sadly he’s doing more damage being asleep at the wheel and being made a fool of by the likes of Rudkin and Whelan. Even keeping Brendan for as long as he did shows naivety.
