  1. People should be very careful what they wish for,  the next owners may well be worse, blood soaked Saudis, Greek criminals or ignorant yanks.
Think very carefully before you wish King power out....

    I thought,

    And,

    I voted out anyway. 😐

Maybe, but it's a short-term deal so shouldn't be that much of an issue. A change is a constant, especially in football.

Take a look at how Blackburn's owners have handled the club, and you'd expect managers would run a mile but they haven't.

Spot on, what many don't factor in is the mindset of top coaches and players ,they didn't get to the top of the tree by "doing ok" at successful clubs, they excelled at failing or mediocre clubs and so moved up the ladder.

The mindset to do this is "I can do what others can't because I'm brilliant".

Hence players move to clubs in the absolute belief that they are better than the present occupier of their position, despite all the evidence to the contrary, and managers are not put off by a seemingly poor squad or useless owner.

And of course a payout of a few million if things go T.U.is a slight consolation !

I always wonder this. I never speak to anyone who is 'KPFC' or thinks Rudkin or Top are doing a good job.

It's just that everything seems to have to be a binary, polarised culture war now. People seem unable to have an opinion unless there's a group they can oppose who think the opposite

I guess I'm doing that now too 😂

We're shit and it's miserable. I can confidently say 99.9% people think the same, but lots on this forum seem to think there's a civil war between them and other (imaginary) fans.

I beg to disagree, every time I post on the BBC (inevitably after another shocking performance), laying the blame squarely at the feet of the terrible two, the post gets hammered, I am "ungrateful", and "the present owner won the prem".

Some live in a fantasy world and simply do not want to face reality, like trying to convince a true believer their God doesn't exist!

The connection between us and the club is huge now and has completely disintegrated among most of us It shows how devoid and empty we are of any excitement today.

It’s a sad state of affairs when I couldn’t care less if we sign players today or not

Does anyone else feel like this ?

For me it's just another scene in the clown show that they have turned Leicester city into, I've gone through disappointment, anger, disbelief and disdain.

Now I laugh out loud at the idiots in charge.

But nothing will change, the captain -advised by the first officer - have set the course and we are on an irreversible course towards the iceberg.

  5. It's not really about the line up, even the best manager in the world can only pick the people he has!

(Although how Thomas is starting still is a mystery ).

It's all about HOW he plays them surely.

But if the style is the same as before, (or worse), then the sacking was pointless and just another blame shifting exercise from nepo baby.

Foxestalk will always produce a hard-line stance that will not be translated into what the everyday fan will do.

I've seen it too many times over the years - you get excited in the FT world that something is gaining traction but it usually barely makes a ripple outside these realms.

Sadly it's unlikely to be noticeable on Monday but that's not to say something couldn't be done to get publicity.

Sadly this is spot on, this appalling situation is like a car crash that you are powerless to prevent happening as you are just the passenger.

Frankly nothing can change what these useless articles are going to do to us, league one may be an unattainable dream soon.

Not saying he was close to joining, just that a decent proportion of our fanbase turned their nose up at him on here.

People confuse the way he had to play his teams with how he'd like to play.

We have seen lots of extremely limited and pig headed managers here recently who say it's my way or the highway, ignoring the unfortunate fact that our extremely limited players are literally incapable of delivering.

Dyche was and is precisely what we needed and need, but lots of our fans think and thunk we are better than him.

The club is a shambles, but the money we all fork out for season tickets means its too expensive to just not turn up.

Lol, that's like saying "well l know this Fortnum and Mason pork pie is mouldy inside but l have to eat it cos it cost so much".

The old couple in front of me said " win or lose, we'll have good day". Unfortunately, they represent the majority of our fanbase.

And that is the whole problem, just as F1 has now stopped being a sport and has become "entertainment", football is following the same path, it's "the Match Day Experience" that has brainwashed the passive observers into seeing the game as just a component in a nice day out, spoiled by people who complain about one tiny part of "A luvly day out".

Once, the match WAS the whole point, and so people who attended were sport orientated football fans, those days are over - at least in the top divisions.

Always keep in mind that the most important thing now for owners/FIFA is making more money from the MDE, closely followed by having more power.

Getting the observers - l won't say fans or supporters- to accept that the game is only a small part of "the entertainment " is necessary as it's the unpredictability of that awkward 90 mins which throws a spanner in the works of controlling the money and power.

Sorry to say that they don't want you and l at the entertainment now, they want more of them.

Unless we have a new manager with a new sense of direction.... getting rid of Marti and replacing him with similar is a waste of time ..... definition of insanity... keep making the same mistakes time and time again  ... we need a back to basics no nonsense manager who stands his ground and is not a puppet for Rudkin and Top

Agreed, but Christmas is just around the corner and the turkeys still aren't voting for it!

Chansiri 2 and his dog want a subservient for the vanity project not a difficult man.

  11. It's the fan base needs to take action not a former player no matter how he may or may not feel, the owners of clubs he may want to go to wouldn't touch any player who goes against one of their own.

It's our club, our team being trashed, but if the majority are not bothered - as they clearly aren't - why should he be?

  12. Can we? Certainly.

Are we more likely to get automatic promotion? Absolutely not

    Playoffs? Absolutely not

Finish just above the relegation places? This is the likely scenario, but the points deduction could be the final nail.

Frankly this useless club deserves to go down more than SWFC,at least their supporters took action against a useless owner, unlike our spineless fans.

Bring on the Brussel knowing Top and co.

    Cooper - poor

    Van Rooney - clueless

    Cifuentes - useless

A clear progression so yep, most likely Martin next to clear the way to League one.
