Happy enough with that, 4 goals after only scoring 15 all last season, played some really good stuff going forward (Rose & Cayman both could/should have scored), disappointed to have conceded two but a long ranger and a daft penalty makes a difference to just being bad at the back. First team of the season! Cayman in at FB/WB (depending on whether that’s Tierney in a back 3 or not), nice to have a strong bench. Kop being injured makes the Lambourne out on loan decision an odd one

Hazard a guess it'd be Rikke Sevecke (ex-Everton, now Portland Thorns), Kirk signed her for Everton, there were murmurs we wanted her and once Ash left she would've been pretty much perfect (physically they're as similar as possible with Sevecke being a better player). Looks like she's only signed for them until the end of this NWSL season too (option for 2024) so be nice to go in for her.

Doing Ajax-Volendam after all! 2nd of November, was already in Leuven October 31st-November 1st for England women against Belgium and managed to extend that trip. After that a much cheaper remainder of the season, knocking the Italy trip back to next season, looking at Harborough (with Dynamo) and Borehamwood, Leyton Orient & Dagenham (all with LCFC women) as far as new grounds go that are pretty much nailed on, few repeats too.

In a way Man City are doing something I wanted them to in giving their young talent a chance (Park, Mace, Blakstad etc) but that should’ve been supplemented by a couple mid-20s into their prime signings not just Roord. FWIW I agree that they’ll get by and finish top 3 by default almost but if they don’t they’ve only got themselves to blame. Spurs, yep. With Brighton I just think they’ve got too much talent with the Losada, Bremer, Pinto, Evrard & Thorisdottir signings + keeping Robinson, that even when they’re not on their day they’ll pull results out now. Good manager too.

2-0 away win for Loughborough Dynamo, love us to have a crack at the play offs but either way the vibe within the club is the best I can remember, fair play to Tom Hayes coming in as manager this summer 👏
