Apologies I didn’t realise you were a relatively new user.. the Harry winks chant although I ain’t familiar with the original song has been used throughout various clubs. It sounds difficult but it really isn’t but that’s what the struggle is. People don’t know the words so just complain, but in the chants section there are the words, the song where it came from and there are videos online of Leicester fans singing it on the coach/train.. These new chants just need a bit of practice and positivity, sadly many don’t want anything new and that’s part of the problem.

I’ve suggested something similar on here months ago and the response was why should I have to read the words off a sheet, we ain’t in a church.. May I make another suggestion and one that answers your question funkyrobot.. how about we use the new songs chants topic as new suggestions and the one that was created the other day as current chants for people who don’t know the words that they can ask and someone can answer.. I guarantee a fair few read FT

In a nut shell that’s exactly what it is.. I ain’t saying L1 don’t sing because it’s heard, but I would rather be around the majority who don’t spend most of their time focussed on the away fans giving it the fingers and willy puller signs every few mins.. that’s why putting the atmosphere next to the away corner will be a disaster

I can understand a lot of the time but yesterday tickets went to members and a block was unused. How do you know a change in the points system would change anything if they couldn’t make an effort to travel yesterday. Just a thought. If new blood really wanted to get a ticket then they would find means and ways.. I ain’t sure if I’m correct in saying that however

Club are seriously shooting themselves in the foot with regards to this.. imagine not putting home games on general sale midweek when there are hundreds of seats left.. if they are worried about any potential trouble then why not give it a go to see? Has nothing to with away fans in the home end as surely Preston ain’t sold their allocation.. supposedly is was a members fixture getting £3 off, obviously ain’t worked as good as they’d hoped.. Should this expansion go ahead (unsure of the latest) but what they going to do then to get seats filled? Impressive to look at but it’ll turn souless as nobody will want to get a membership for Plymouth at home midweek..

I was stood as centre to the goal as you could get next to the barrier and I thought at times the atmosphere was a bit lacking at times. From the right it sounded ok but then as it moved towards the middle it fizzled out. At one point we love you was started, then as it got to us and the woah bits, it ended Someone has pointed out that it was quite loud when their keeper went down, stephy and jv are showmen and love the attention and it was great to hear as a whole the mavididi chant which also carried on twice.. player chants can be sung anytime through the game.. straight back up gets a bit after the 50th time.. I did have an older woman in ear shot who kept shouting are you playing football or just walking around.. got irritating after a while. Still think some more chants need adding, wout for example scores or touches the ball and you hear woooooooo.. sounds like we’re booing him.. Norwich was worse than that yesterday but tweaks can make it better..

But is that because that’s their season ticket space and they refuse to give it up? How many people who are members try to get tickets for the section but they are sold out before their points priority.. I have to book it literally the day they go on sale at 35+ to get in there. Leave it a couple of days if you ain’t got enough points and you’ve missed out..

I was having a think about it the other day and I’m sure this has been asked or covered before, but would the atmosphere improve if the singing section was expanded? Do the people who sit in sk2/sk3 have the opinion that 1) I just ain’t going to be bothered to sing or 2) if I’m classed as something else then screw them kind of thing.. I was at the hull game and couldn’t believe that although I was in Sk1 and even just about 6 seats away from the perimeter, how out of touch I felt with the section itself.. where I was looking to stand everyone fell down as soon as it kicked off so I had to sit.. this conversation is going round in circles and one that is screaming out for rail seating so if you don’t want to stand then alternative seating can be found. It doesn’t have to be the whole kop, but sk1, g1 and g2 like at old Trafford or Celtic.. I believe the atmosphere would improve tenfold.. its a way of juggling the fans around and those who want to be quiet and sit can do so somewhere else.. just a thought

I know the answer to that.. because there are two versions.. half sing we are Leicester, then other half sing we are city so by rushing it, it moulds into one.. by the way is it Leicester or city??
