Surely we can't have zero recall rights on ANY of our loaned out players. That would be madness. You'd hope that we'd have 'earliest recall would be January'' type clauses so that we could react to circumstances but not ridiculously early in the season

We've got three strikers other than Cannon and I imagine we could play a false 9 formation if we really wanted to with the likes of Casadei, Mavididi, Akgun and Fatawu probably capable of doing a job for 1 game or 2 if given the right support. So hopefully we can wait for the lad to get fit, and him and Praet will be like 2 new signings in and around January.

Both Mavididi, Fatawu and (despite ltd time on the pitch ) Akgun have a lot of tenacity and discipline defensively - aswell as tricks and pace going forward. It was what I liked about Lookman aswell. It feels like that must have been the brief from Maresca and we've found them from 3 different European leagues - so the club deserves some credit I can imagine after they get up to speed we are going to have just too much for the championship.

Aguero might have something to say about that. Always got 25. 6 out of his ten seasons he got over 20 league goals and the other 4 he missed games through injury.
