  1. I haven't noticed Chris Popov anywhere recently, is he injured? Had a lot of praise last season I hear with his similarities to Vardy in how he'd press from the front.
  2. Not done my research, but I remember how well he made his RB Salzburg team, especially in Europe, but bringing that German way of playing football to Leicester is something I'd love to see with this squad. Despite losing Haaland for a lot of the season and against a superior Bayern, he still finished second I think he's worth a punt to refresh the squad environment a bit, if we felt Rodgers has hit the end of his tenure.
  3. That's the beauty of football, you can see the same game from all different points of view.
  4. I'd replace tielemens for praet tbh, it's just not been the best of days for him. But KDH and Madders performances have been really 🔥and showing their importance.
  5. As we've shown there, if your gonna recycle possession, then doing fast can really allow an opportunity to arrise through finding a gap. We've just got to take those opportunities just as quick.
  6. I believe if we were to get money for youri, signing a winger needs to be first priority as I believe Praet and Soumare can fill in there. While having more wingers available would allow us to be collectively better and more aggressive on the press and in advanced areas.
  7. This is true, and from what I've seen is that I'm sure Rodgers ideally wants to play with wingers in a 4231 or 433 but the lack of wingers sees 3atb with wb's is the only way to provide appropriate width to the system in terms of stretching play and attacking from angles.
  8. Considering Everton's new defensive crisis with injuries of Godfrey and Mina, I could see that being a possible avenue to sell him, even though Vestergaard and Tarkowski would be a slow CB partnership.
  9. But that still means we need to remove the mistakes of giving heavily inflated wages to some players i.e. Bertrand. However, I think the great thing about Top tho is he's learned all the lessons from his father and at only 37 leading a billion pounds worth company, he's gonna become a even more experienced businessman and added to that love for the club the family has shown, I believe we are in the safe hands for the present and the future wherever such tall ambition takes us for example that new stadium concept looks bloody brilliant. The achievement of even coming close of competing with the financial and established powers of the top Manchester and London clubs is remarkable and should never be forgotten and if we someday have a change in manager or set of players, I believe we will get back competing again.
  10. I personally think smart move to keep him for this year. Despite no signings, we are coming into a season with a very strong first eleven with less games possibly providing the competitive advantage arsenal had the year prior. They finished 8th and the season without europe they managed to climb 2 extra places to 5th, granted a higher expenditure but collectively our first eleven is still superior to their 21/22 side. If we get top 7 which if we are better with injuries, I still believe so, then the value of our players will increase such like Fofana. Therefore, the smartest decision would be to hold off for a higher windfall later on.
  11. Hmm that is true, there's definetly places we can do that like Vestergaard for a U21 CB or even Choudhury sold/loaned. Would Stolarcyk count as U21 to replace one of last year's GK's?
  12. I kind of hope Wright sticks around due to the limited recourses on the wide areas. If he's willing he could really work into that spot like KDH did when waiting to around December time.
  13. I believe the success of Martin Glover replacing Congerton is a big indicator of what success we have in recruitment. We have all heard the failures in recruitment of Congerton at Celtic and those same errors kind of happened here. Glover and the new head of medicine can really set us back on the right track onwards to an upwards trajectory again so there is reason for optimism in our structure as long as we begin to cut our wages and utilise the loan and youth systems to our advantage. The fact he sold us Vestergaard for £15m from Southampton shows he might even improve us selling off deadwood e.g. Vestergaard and Bertrand again pls. 🧐
  14. I think it's a good level to start as he's already starting much earlier than Callum Wright and KDH in LG2. Plus, I agree about your point of being next to pros every week as it's experience next to senior players possibly working for their families where you need to perform in the present for a living and at 18, that could really elevate him to the next level in terms of maturity for example.
