Holland, Scriven and Walker all top out at around 77mph with Wright able to hit 80mph. Big innings for the skipper here, he hasn't gone past 7 runs in 5 of his last 6 innings
-
Knew that would finally work!
-
Never seen a team hit/mishit so much in the air and bloody just avoid a Foxes' fielder!

The latest 'The Cricketer's County Conversation' podcast features Cam Ponsonby and Nick Friend in conversation with our own James Taylor. Well worth a listen.

Apparently their players were top drawer after losing last year's ODC final, some joining the Foxes lads on the lash afterwards. Couple that with their loaning of Scott Currie and Ian Holland over the last 12 months and most genuinely have no issues with them. Sussex and Notts on the other hand........

Another kiss of death and 4 off 12 balls hardly screams pinch hitter

Yes..........

Wiaan Mulder walked off Providence Stadium, Guyana last evening with a test best 4-18 in the WI v SA 2nd test. That has to be some kind of sign for today

Interesting that speed merchant John Turner has been added to their squad fresh from his stint with Trent Rockets. Meanwhile Rishi and Rehan continue to pick out the splinters from their backside

Section 12.3 (Loan Players) in the ECB Player Registration Regulations states "Unless expressly stipulated otherwise in the loan agreement, the Home County may recall the Cricketer to play in a match or matches in the Finals Stage of the One-Day Cup or the T20 Blast during the loan period, and notwithstanding any such recall the term of the loan agreement shall continue uninterrupted in accordance with its terms." Home county is the loaned player's parent county for definition purposes. There isn't anything in the above regulations that outright prevents for example, Hampshire/Somerset and the Foxes coming to an agreement about the availability of Currie/Holland in the knock-out stages of the Blast or ODC, nor playing against their parent county. It will come down to the original terms set out in the loan agreement. Worth keeping in mind (a) all wages, appearance and bonus monies have to be met by the Foxes during the loan period and (b) loans can be competition specific.

We're home to Hampshire

Notts have defeated Warwickshire on DLS, which means a home tie as runner-up

Our lowest List A score was set back in May 1973 v Sussex in the old JPL. Chasing only 90 to win, messrs Dudleston, Norman, Davison, Balderstone, Tolchard (x2), Steele, Illingworth et.al. were skittled out for 36!

It would inevitably lead to discussion around the two teams merging

That wasn't CW bowling.

Superb over from Walker

Foxes 208-7 42.2 overs Glamorgan 201-7 42.2 overs Almost neck and neck at the same stage. One thing perhaps in our favour is that their lower order have barely had to pick up a bat recently!
-
Northeast heading north-east back to the pavilion. We're still in this. Could do with CW finding last season's form, his figures this season in the Metro Bank are 3 wickets at over 82 per wicket ATOW (49-3-247-3).

Looks like a 5pm restart with 150 to win from 22 overs - if no more of the wet stuff
-
The latest start time for a 10-over game, the minimum for a result, is approximately 5.50pm. The total required using DLS would be 81 to win.

Green played recently for England under 19s. Given the selectors even at that level rarely look outside the bigger, wealthier counties, you know he's been identified like Hull, as a decent future prospect.
