Just for confirmation, the Second XI regulations simply say "Grade 1 quality red balls of Dukes, Kookaburra or Gunn & Moore manufacture shall be used in Second Xl Championship matches, to be determined by the home team." You would think with the Kookaburra being used in the next four rounds of CC XI fixtures, they're almost certainly using one in the current 2nd XI fixtures.
