Match Abandoned FFS

Mike grabs wicket number 6 with some lovely leg-side filth. It's now a game of Foxes v Madsen (again).....
-
We can also claim an extra half hour if it looks like a positive result is achievable, IIRC.
-
A tad harsh on someone with 2-6 at this time
-
The forecast for Monday isn't great, 16-17 wickets for the Foxes tomorrow would come in handy
-
I would have preferred Cameron Green That promising 3-39 last July was against Surrey which to be fair, might be worth about 7-20 by our standards
-
Given the weather forecast for Monday, I would have been declaring once the lead ticked over past 200. I hope the unnecessary batting practice costs them the win. On another subject, Somerset say they expect Jack Leach back in action next month with Shoaib Bashir almost certain to be going out on loan. Given we don't have a true frontline spinner, would you take him?

I defy anyone to disagree that the leg cutter Tom Scriven bowled to dismiss Pujara was the nearest thing to a cricket orgasm you will probably see this season. https://live.nvplay.com/ecb/?tab=m_scorecard&video=v2_086_03#m9451e50b-e260-4200-b895-8b7d353c4730

They should have bowled 'ol golden arm Ackermann earlier, he comes on and breaks the partnership at 348 with just the 11th ball for his new county....albeit, the previous 10 had been plastered around Edgbaston for 24 runs!
-
Scuttled out for 80 to make a great start for the week. Ben Mike closing in on a five-for to go with his 90.
-
Some good omens ahead of the new season with Wiaan Mulder's early season stand-in knocking a classy 131 on his return to Shield action. On top of Will Pucovski's ton, Handscomb scored 114 as the pair helped Victoria rack up 454-6d against Lyon and co.
-
Foxes fans react as Pucovski is again, ruled out of this weekend's return to Sheffield Shield action following concussion symptoms while batting in a second XI game.
-
Another well-made 76 off 93 for Jamie Dunk at the U19 World Cup this morning with Scotland taking on Namibia.
-
As a few may have seen by now, some counties including Middlesex are having to count their pennies and with the T20 World Cup going on around the same time, look like having a 100% domestic squad for the coming season. Certainly helps with their carbon footprint!
-
There's far more headroom with Ben Mike if he knuckles down and responds to the coaches.
-
Rehan's been called up for both the ODI and T20 England squad as part of next month's West Indies tour. There's three ODIs against West Indies from December 3-9 and five T20Is from December 12-21.
-
I'm just waiting for the obligatory tweet sorry, 'X' from Durham ** Following the end of the ODI series against Ireland, Matthew Potts returns for the remainder of Durham's current county game to wipe out Leicestershire's remaining batting resistance" # 12 against 11 **
-
Heh, heh, half expect the Yorkies to offer Davis and Swindells contracts after this game. Is Ben Mike crocked again, he didn't even get to turn his arm over?
-
I bet he has his selfie stick and blank autograph cricket bat at the ready for the end of the match when he tries to grab Darren Gough......
-
He's really f**ked us over, the look on some of the batters' faces including Cox says it all really. What did we get on the first day, just one raised finger from several close shouts?
-
Patel's lbw decision looks a shocker, it practically pitched half-way down the wicket and would have sailed way over leg stump.
-
Without getting too carried away, we might be batting tonight at this rate
-
Almost right. He had just moved from Carlisle United at the end of their top-flight 74/75 season, where he played 27 games against the likes of Liverpool, Leeds, Everton, Arsenal et.al., in order to concentrate on his cricket ambitions with both the Foxes and England. The Foxes were playing in a 3-day game at Chesterfield against Derbyshire, with his new club Doncaster 30 minutes away by car, home to Brentford on the second day evening (Monday). He ran off to a waiting car at 6.30pm with 51 not out to his name, arriving at Belle Vue 7.05pm, 25 minutes before kick-off, where he played the 90 in a 1-1 draw. He then came back to the crease the next day and was finally run out for 116 before taking 3-28 off 16.3 overs in the Derbyshire 2nd innings as the Foxes comfortably wrapped up the CC win. Not too shabby for a 34 year-old! There's a good number of Carlisle fans of a certain age like myself, who starting supporting Leicestershire CCC in the 70s through the Balderstone connection and the teams having the same (running fox) club badge.

Assuming Salisbury doesn't recover for the weekend, quite possibly: Patel Budinger Hill Ackermann Mulder Kimber Ahmed Swindells + Scriven Wright Hull
-
I've missed our 35-8 collapses. Didn't want to play in Division One anyway
