You said they were ‘light years’ ahead of us. I reckon Man City might be light years ahead of us, perhaps Real Madrid as well, but certainly not Brighton.
-
KDH is going nowhere for goodness sake. Some people panic at the first sign of a story.
-
Nonsense. They’ve had a couple of really good years while we’ve had a very bad year but overall we’re a comfortably bigger club and there’s no reason why in a couple more years we’d be back competing with them or even higher than them.

Precisely

If we’re beaten by Birmingham it will knock our confidence and for that reason alone we need to win. Add to that the excitement if we get another decent draw with the prospect of a quarter final on the horizon.

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread
Mr Weller 2 replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
I guess being in the best position at this stage of the season of any team in the last 120 years of championship/division 2 football just isn’t enough to convince you then. What were you expecting? Arsenal 2004? Barcelona 2015. Brazil 1970? -
It’s strange how perceptions change depending on the situation. Most clubs would be delighted to know that even if they lost their next game they would still be 7 points clear from third but because we’ve been so far ahead, and for so long, there’s talk of panic and the pressure being on. Of course, nothing has been won yet and it could all go wrong but we are quite possibly in the strongest position any championship club has ever been in at this stage of the season so we can hardly moan too much.

At best a player with potential, at worst a player who struggled at championship level. Certainly not a major blow and probably for the best, although the timing was unexpected.

No it’s FFP that’s the constraint. We have the money I’m sure.

No you’re wrong and I wouldn’t want to live in a society where your views prevailed.

Literally just heard him say Milwall dominated possession when the stats show we have 62% possession. -

Are the radio Leicester commentators working for Milwall? When we attack or score they sound flat but have been waxing lyrical about Milwall despite being 2 down at halftime. -

You were wrong my friend. -
Because it’s not an expression of how people feel and it’s forced.
-
But he is making a more general point that real atmosphere isn’t constantly singing, regardless of what’s happening on the pitch. It’s a reaction to events, a celebration and a moment of pride. I like the efforts of UFS and don’t condemn them like big mickey but it’s true you can’t inspire people simply by singing non-stop irrespective of the mood and tempo of the game.
-
Of course it’s way too early to say but this was a very encouraging performance. He seems strong and composed and made some clever runs as well. Now he has a chance to establish himself and get a run of goals we will see if he has genuine premier league potential but the signs are promising.
-
I know what you mean but he gives us a high profile and on balance I think that helps
-
That’s too cynical. He put money into the club when we went into administration and he is genuinely attached to the club.
-
No need for major changes unless some have taken knocks. Millwall will see changes for sure, both because it’s the cup and because of the AFCON. Maresca will have thought about this but he will assess again after the Huddersfield game. Having said that Maresca doesn’t seem one for unforced wholesale changes and I think that’s wise. Teams that play well together improve together and momentum is important. Young, fit players who are playing well want to play every game but an unnecessary break can interrupt their flow and the momentum is lost. Better to rotate a few when necessary but keep the core of the team together where possible.

Thanks
-
We’re a lot better than the rest of the division and everyone knows it. There’s us and then there’s the real championship.

20,000 use them the others moan about people using them take your pick PS in a sport where a reserve team player can get £20k a week I don’t think King Power will worry too much about the ‘waste’ of a few recyclable clappers
-
As you accuse around 20,000 every game of being senseless I’d reconsider your view if I were you. It’s pitiful seeing the anti-clapper brigade conjure up ever more desperate explanations for their continued popularity.
