Umm…he was the one playing the QPR player onside for the first goal…and rather then do any defending, he failed to communicate to Faes, then decided thar rather than actually defend, he sold out for an offside that was never going to happen. It was bad defending. He’s young and he’ll improve, think he can be special, but I wouldn’t be holding my head up for being the root cause of their first goal just because he was in the right place at the right time to kick a loose ball into the net.

In fairness to him, he came on for Praet, and I’d say he was 100% accurate in his role as Praet.

Not sure why Fatawu used his arm to drag the Bournemouth player down…had he continued his run right through him, it would not have been a foul at all based on this ref’s previous calls all night.

Wonder if Raikhy comes off at the half? He's looked good with the ball, seems to make good decisions, but a couple woeful challenges, like he’s either trying to do too much, or the speed of the game is a bit much for him at the moment. I’d like to see more of him though.

Your mentioning of Vestergaard made me think that perhaps another factor could be people’s unwillingness to admit they were wrong, or that players can come good. I wanted to send Vesty to Siberia last year, and while he’s still slow and a real life Easter Island statue playing top flight football, he’s certainly played much better this year.
