I’m really not. I just can’t figure out any statistical or logical reason for the irrational amount of sh*t he gets from our supporters compared to others on the squad who ACTUALLY continue to stink up the pitch. We were spoiled by prime Vardy. We likely won’t see a player like him at his peak in an Leicester shirt again in our lifetimes. Daka will never be Vardy. But he’s not trash. He’s the best striker currently in our first team. Show me stats that say otherwise. He certainly doesn’t deserve the slagging he gets on here week in and week out, while he scores goals, assists, and does all the little things that make players around him better. Does he miss sometimes? Sure. If he didn’t, he’d be playing in the Prem for a top 6 club! I would encourage the Daka haters to come off FT and check out other footballing social media. There are plenty of supporters of other clubs that would love to have him. Basically, he’s not peak Vardy or Harry Kane, but he’s more than serviceable in the Championship and he’s helped win us a few games. He’s nowhere near as bad as some would like him to be, no matter how many times you say it.

What about the Mavididi sitter missed? What about the Daka goal that was wrongly disallowed? What if Vesty didn’t gift them a goal? you can’t seriously pin this entire match on Daka.

The amount of flack given for a striker on 7 goals and 4 assists on a club full of bottlers…I have to ask, if he were white would he be getting this much hate?

Genuinely don’t get the Daka hate. Did he miss an easy one? Yeah. He wasn’t alone in doing so tonight. Did he score a goal that should have been allowed? Yes. Did he assist the only goal we had tonight? Yep. Has he shown more this year than Senior Man, who seems to be anywhere but on the pitch when he’s called upon? Yes. Vardy’s injured. And no slight to him, he’s not someone we can realistically call on to give us 90 minutes of top flight performance anymore. Cannon could be the answer long term, but he seems to need time to get up to speed. Meanwhile, Daka’s on 7 goals and 4 assists and plays our style quite well. He runs his arse off, pressing and defending. What else do you want?

Well, unfortunately, each half is 45 minutes, so a craptastic 10 minutes can absolutely wipe away a good 35 minute performance. Unless they shorten the matches, which LCFC absolutely should push for given our ability to wilt at the end of seemingly every big match. I’m not trying to take this out on you Lillehamring, this match, and the two against Ipswich, and the Cov match, and the last one against Boro, just have me in a sour mood.

Look at the class of our players vs the rest of the league though. Look at the squad payroll compared to the rest of the league. Being 6 points up isn’t the accomplishment you’re making it out to be. We need to get our mental fragilities sorted out, or we’ll be talking about how we like our chances in the playoffs, against clubs that should be miles below us.

Agreed. He was class up until that pathetic attempt. But the way this one went, he could have put it in the back of the net and it still wouldn’t have counted.

I didn’t realize LCFC was the only club (potentially/likely) playing PL football next year. I would imagine after this debacle, we are behind 19 other clubs, just in one league when it comes to signing him on a free in the summer. To be clear, I’m not saying it’s dire that we didn’t get Sensi. I don’t think it is. But it is a serious hit to the credibility and capability of our club that it was handled like this. And given that, there’s about a 0% chance that he signs here.

The amount of posts intimating that we’ll get Sensi on a free in the summer…guys, seriously? Do you really think that? Picture this: Sicily, 2024. Your name is Stefano, and your contract is over. You get paid exorbitant money to play a game. You have multiple suitors lining up to pay you said monies. Are you really going to consider the clown show FC that flew you in, made you take the medical, take photos, and faf about a waiting room all day, all while they knew they were too poor to actually make the deal work? Why would he bother to come back to LCFC? He’s not got one single good reason to do so.

You’re making the point that Rudkin isn’t fit for his job. Who signed all these deadwood players on high wages that we can’t move to any other club in the world? Who put us in the position to HAVE to make an outgoing transfer in order to complete a chump change incoming transfer?

Why is EVERYTHING with this club very complicated? Meanwhile, Forest is over there with active FFP charges signing players like they’re trying to field an additional PL squad.
