Whilst I bear Ipswich no ill will (unlike Leeds) and I respect their achievements, the quality and style of play is antediluvian

Ipswich looked like a very poor person’s Everton or Palace last night. Blackburn could easily have won - poor finishing once more.

The press often seems excessive and must exhaust many of the front players

Perhaps we should learn from the occasions we have unsuccessfully tried to sit on a 1-0 lead and try the tactics that Leeds, Ipswich, Cov etc used against us. OK they had some luck, but in part that was the result of periods of major, sustained, pacy pressure. Like Liverpool routinely play. I guess we just don’t have enough athletic, if limited, players to do that.
