  1. Oh sorry I said I had two random messages in my DM on X on 3rd May saying Martin to Leicester had legs which I found random! not convinced by the reliability of those two people though! My personal belief is one of two things are happening: 1/ RM is all ready to replace ruud but they’re sorting out severance package. 2/ they had planned on bringing in RM but they’ve had seconds thoughts due to the sheer amount of backlash from fans in the stand and online. both possibilities in my mind involve RM one way or another as the club have liked him for quite some time! He was seen as the eventual replacement for Brendan but things changed when we were relegated and he went to Saints.
  2. What do you mean my source? I haven’t got a managerial source. all I’ve said about Martin is that I wouldn’t mind it!
  3. the difference this year is we were relegated in April, not on the last day of the season! They've had nearly 6 weeks to put a plan in place and are still twiddling their thumbs!
  4. Schlupp?
  5. The release clause is rumoured to be around the £21m mark. https://x.com/sachatavolieri/status/1919457738163179909
  6. Same club that didn’t want to pay £3m compensation for Corberan 🤦‍♂️
  7. Yeah I’ve said already that I’d rather Rohl. But I don’t think the club want to pay compo
  8. Fair points, I genuinely get where you’re coming from. If things start rocky it could turn toxic quickly. That’s the risk with any manager who brings a distinct style. But I’d argue that sticking with no style or trying to please everyone leads us nowhere – which is exactly where we ended up last season. As for the Premier League I agree it could get nasty. But so could any other appointment. There’s no “safe” choice that guarantees success in both leagues. You either roll the dice on someone with a plan and back it properly, or you just keep reacting and firefighting.
  9. James Justin. Luke Thomas. you could be on to something.
  10. Martin might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but at least he has a vision. This club needs a vision. Top clearly wanted that two years ago when he appointed Enzo – a progressive coach, possession-based football and then completely panicked last season with Cooper. No direction, no identity. Martin’s football won’t suit everyone, but we’ve got players who are keen to play that way and actually capable of doing it at Championship level. Think about how Winks, Mavididi, Ricardo, and could thrive ago in a high-possession, build-from-the-back system. Yes, it’d need serious recruitment if we go back up. You can’t rock up to the Prem with a budget version of that style and expect to stay up. But that’s true of most managers we could bring in. The difference with Martin is you know what you're buying into. The way his teams play is clear, structured, and it does in fact work when given the time and tools. He’s not another dinosaur saying gerrit forward. So might not be perfect, but it’s a plan. And after the last couple of years, that would be a massive step in the right direction. FYI - Im sober and havent fit into a pair of skinny jeans since 2016
  11. I’d rather Rohl but I don’t think we’d pay any compo! Out of all of the free agent managers, Martin is my pick.
  12. Oh yeah if we start as poorly as some make out we will, then I will be fully on the Martin Out train. I just think he’ll be absolutely more than good enough at championship level! of course the concerns would come later if we’re promoted.
  13. Don’t hate me… but… I want Martin 😂😂 for me, no news is bad news.
  14. Lox from BTG here! Don’t blame me for this one hahaha i just saw rumours that there would be news on Friday!! I have absolutely no idea when top will get off his horse and press ‘post’
